Another theory that seeks to explain Japan's shrinking population is that Japanese youth spend too much time engaged with technology, living in virtual worlds or settling for virtual girlfriends rather than real ones.

No matter the situation "men are always to blame" and "women are never to blame". Hmm, it seems that Japanese men are simply not playing "the game" women want them to play and it pisses the women off to no end. That article is basically the long version of telling Japanese men to "Man Up". The author has no idea what Japanese men really are like with the exception that they are ignoring her Japanese girlfriends. Good! Let the women stew in their frustration, perhaps they will then knock off the shrill feminist speak and try to figure out WHY the men are ignoring them. Could it be because they denigrate their men at every opportunity in the name of female empowerment? The author is an expat and she seems to be applying western style shaming techniques against Japanese men. Japanese men simply don't accept the mind games and BS their women heap on them.

I think sooner rather than later the MGTOW movement will gain momentum. Think of it as an unofficial strike against feminism via non-violent means. Without men to be used as proxies for female violence, the feminist movement will die a noisy and colorful death.

These international examples are showing us, or at least me, that although the cultures may be different in various parts of the world the women are the same.
