White working-class boys becoming an underclass

White working-class boys becoming an underclass - Telegraph

White working-class boys becoming an underclass

White teenagers are less likely to go to university than school-leavers from other ethnic groups - even with the same A-level results, according to official figures.

The gap is widest among male teenagers from poor backgrounds, raising fresh fears that working class boys are becoming the education "underclass" in England.
According to a Government report, just over one-in-20 white boys from poor homes goes on to university.
This compares to 66 per cent of Indian girls and 65 per cent of young women from Chinese families.

It's not just England. White males are having to take low paying jobs with no benefits. Many are finding it difficult to get a jobs in the US, period, even before the recession hit.
And being the only section of society that it's impossible to give the status of 'minority' to, I don't expect much help from anyone.

Yes, I suppose at least it means the brainwashing stops at 16 or 18 instead of 21 or later. It also means creating a fairly hopeless underclass unfortunately. Who on earth cares about poor, white men?

Let the women all go to university to get "irrelevant in the workplace" qualifications.
Young men should be getting into the TRADES, that is where the REAL money is and there are no women there to compete with, it's "too hard" and you "have to use your hands" ewwwww!

Trades may be important in Oz and NZ but here in the UK we're flooded with men from the EC (Poland etc) to undercut the men in the UK. Builders are doing extremely badly for example. I learnt last week that my landlord's prospective son in law, who was a builder, committed suicide because of the state of the industry.

This was a trend we could all see coming.

No, there won't be any help coming for them either, because of course they are a part of the "privileged oppressive patriarchy". The ironic thing is how Marxism used to idolize these guys, but in the space of a few decades completely abandoned them. I guess you can't blame the Marxists -- the female sex has provided a much more obedient stalking horse for the goal of radical social and political transformation than the working class ever did.

Hell hath no fury like a Marxist scorned I suppose. In the '80s, working class men turned their backs on socialism, bought their council houses and aspired to being middle class. Then the collapse of the Soviet Union just proved that Marxism was a complete failure. Time to train their (bigoted) sights on men as the new enemy.

Yes exactly. It's a very basic revolutionary programme: divide and conquer. The idea of using the proles as a stalking horse was appealing because they outnumber the elite, so it was considered to be a surer bet. It didn't turn out that way, because the anti-socialists like Thatcher were actually quite smart in terms of what it would take to turn the working class into capitalists. And of course economic socialism always found a rocky shore in the United States, a fact that dramatically limited its ability to grow, as well as its credibility other than as a global antagonist.

But when they turned to use women as the new fulcrum for a kind of cultural socialism, I think they got more than they bargained for --> I don't think that the cultural Marxists really knew that women were so same sex affiliative as a group, really, those studies are quite recent indeed. In fact, because of that, women turned out to be the perfect revolutionary force, and they have largely remained so. For even the average woman in the street who doesn't see herself as a feminist will rise up together with the sisterhood whenever a flashpoint of confrontation with men is the issue, and we all know that the constant conversations that women have with their friends about the men in their lives also undermine men, slowly but surely. In terms of the import of the latter, the key insight of the movement was "the personal is political". When you go there, then of course everything in one's life becomes a matter for the state, which is really the *perfect* blueprint for social revolution. Couple that together with a revolutionary antagonist force that is simultaneously (1) very same sex affiliative and (2) very prone to highlight the importance of personal matters over abstract politics, in general as a *class*, and you get the perfect powderkeg for massive social change -- more perfect than the first cultural Marxists could have ever imagined, really.

The scary thing is that it appears self-perpetuating at this point -- it's like a merry-go-round that isn't stopping, really. The only limiting factor is biology, and we all know that this won't continue to be a limiting factor indefinitely.
