To be honest, any woman that marries a professional athlete and expects him to be faithful takes the same odd that a rich man takes by having sex with a woman that he knows that she presses false allegations of rape. You just made the statement that infidelity is "women's view" of marriage by the actions of half a dozen women. Is that really a fair statement to make? Should we conclude from this situation that there's only one man who cheats for every six women who do it?

I'll tell you what disgusts me most about this whole thing: it's people using this situation to draw erroneous conclusions about gender.

Call me callous if you may, but most of what Tiger is now reaping is a direct result of his actions. He does not deserve to be a victim of violence. He did, however, put himself into this humiliating predicament with regard to the media attention on his infidelity. He knows he's in the public eye. He's married and slept around with several women. He knows he has a lot of money and I'm sure he's aware of gold-diggers. It's hard to feel sorry for him on these particular points.
