    Sweden adopts gender-neutral pronoun 'hen'

    Th
e Nordic country officially added the gender-neutral pronoun "hen" to the online version of its National Encyclopedia earlier this month, Slate reports.

The new entry defines the Swedish word "hen" (pronounced like the bird) as a pronoun to be used instead of "he" and "she".

Swedish activists are also lobbying for parents to be able to choose any name for their children, regardless of gender and some local clothing companies have removed "boys" and "girls" sections from their stores. Some Swedish toy retailers have decided to challenge gender stereotypes in their catalogues, featuring a boy dressed as Spiderman pushing a stroller and a girl riding a racing bike.

In Canada, there are also people working to eliminate gender-based terms from the equation.

A "hen" is a female chicken. They can't just say what they mean can they...

I bet they are putting research into making humans asexual.

Ridiculous! But then 'hen' is also a noun for a female bird? Scots visiting Sweden will be confused as it is an affectionate term of address to women and girls.

It's Sweden's next step to creating an androgynous population, in defiance of nature and what has worked since time immemorial. Social engineering programs dictated to by the state also ravage traditional families and strip away personal freedoms. Feminists realize that by feminizing boys they will produce compliant and meek manginas, that they can trample underfoot in the political and socioeconomic sphere for generations to come.

Once upon a time Swedish men were feared as ferocious vikings, today their more likely to be dressed in a gimp outfit, ball in mouth, led around on all-fours by their womenfolk - aggressively yanking the dog lead they are attached to. Pathetic!

It doesn't sound as though there are too many nails left to go in Sweden's coffin.

Well, Sweden is a country known for its neutrality. So now, Swedish parents will have to look through twice as many items of clothing, to find the appropriate items of BOYS' or GIRLS' clothing that they will undoubtedly dress their BOYS or GIRLS in, anyway? Now there's efficiency, for you! This would surely never happen in Germany.....
