Summer 2011 riots little to do with kids

During the UK summer 2011 "events" many on this fourm were echoinng the media headlines that it was kids running riot - and this was a comforting analysis for many on this fourm as it "confirmed" their prejudice that the break up of the family was to blame.

I went publically against this trend and said "bullshit" kids are merely being used as a scapegoat.

And now the facts being to come out - not even 20% of the rioters were aged 17 and under - yet they constantly got the media attention. (The bulk of rioters were 21-30 years old) BBC News - Analysis: The riots data so far

Of course they did!!! What do you think the media do, report the truth? If the media reported that 80% of rioters were adults, it would have brought the masses onto the streets and possibly an "Arab spring" type revolt to the UK, so to forestall such an event the media focused on kids.

Yup kids are fucked by the family courts and fucked again by the media ! And we kidded ourselves into echoinng the media lies

"Adults?".. You ever seen a kid from a broken home actually reach "adulthood?".. I have seen many of them still acting like tards at the age of nearly 30...

These stats don't tell us much really.. They are just the ones before the courts.. We saw the footage on the TV and we know what sort of folks where doing the rioting etc..

The state has fucked up big time over the last few decades in many areas of life, leaving many young men in a pretty hopeless position as they cant get decent jobs or anything..

Propping up single mother lifestyles and irradicating fathers has a lot to do with it for sure..

Ah yes, I forgot, the media never lies!

The scale of the event indicates it was something far far bigger. Remember, the timing of this event - just months after teh Arab Spring. For me it was a mass english rising, a bee hive type event where the media tried to discredit and say only "Lumpen" elements took part.

Have a think FB. If you are basing what you say on the media, ask yourself are the media telling the truth?

The progress of the riots was recorded from where it started and how other places followed suit..

Whether or not the media ever report "the real truth".. They do go out with cameras and short of staging the whole fucking thing with actors what can be seen can be seen.. And much of the footage on utbube or wherever was "self shot" on the same phones used to get folks coming along to the show..

Opportunism, hot weather, young unemployed/off school blokes milling around with not much to do and the usual ingredients for a classic British riot season..

If it was some sort of glorious uprising, where were the spokespeople making demands?

Nah, it was just the sort of chavery that happens in the UK now and then when the state gets its social or policing policies wrong.. Or maybe the state in some way laid the foundations for this to happen.. It was made clear that the police where not doing anything about it at first.. Just standing around and watching..

Now the state has its excuse to come down heavy on folks..

Of course, immediately afterwards, every political group was trying to capitalise on this..

It was nowt but standard issue chavery gone out of control when the opportunities present themselves and the weather is right..
