Obviously if the woman informs the man she is taking the pill, when she is clearly not (fraud), then surely she is misusing the gift other than it's intended purpose (casual consensual sex)?

Clearly, yes. But the courts bend over backwards to find paternity so that the state does not have to pay.

The real problem seems to be that men dont want to be burdened with financial child support.

The solution is to eliminate the concept of child support as being a financial matter..

That is easily done.

Why are men not demanding THAT?

Another issue must be..

Why would a man want to take a pill that acts for months continually when they may not have sex that often?

If a man is in a "regular" relationship, he would surely expect to be able to trust the haddock he is slithering..

Nova, the concept of a ‘sperm gift’ is really annoying me. Surely a gift is only a gift if that was the intention. The implication of using a condom is that you do not intend to give the sperm to her. It’s almost as ridiculous as saying that if you throw a bank statement away without shredding it you are giving a gift to an identity thief! I suppose they are both trying to cost you thousands of pounds and ruin your life.

It is as simple as that. Give men choice. Give men a good option. I don´t want to father a child, I don´t have to.

I´d take it if I was single and dating. And my mother was right. Trust no one.
