That is completely unacceptable and RIDICULOUS. Using children as weapons or rather "hostages" in this case so that people will hear them is a cowardly tactic. Furthermore, this is no different from religious organizations homosexuals slander with "brainwashing their young", so it is completely hypocritical. That teacher should be fired, though the school should be shutdown for allowing such a thing to happen.

First Graders Taken To San Francisco City Hall For Gay Wedding
October 11, 2008 Contact: Chip White/Sonja Eddings Brown, 916-215-4392 (www.faith-freedom.net)
SAN FRANCISCO, October 11 – In the same week that the No on 8 campaign launched an ad that labeled as “lies” claims that same-sex marriage would be taught in schools to young children, a first grade class took a school-sponsored trip to a gay wedding.
Eighteen first graders traveled to San Francisco City Hall Friday for the wedding of their teacher and her lesbian partner, The San Francisco Chronicle reported. The school sponsored the trip for the students, ages 5 and 6, taking them away from their studies for the same-sex wedding. According to the Yes on 8 campaign, the public school field trip demonstrates that the California Supreme Court's decision to legalize same-sex marriage has real consequences.
"Taking children out of school for a same-sex wedding is not customary education. This is promoting same-sex marriage and indoctrinating young kids," said Yes on 8—ProtectMarriage.com Campaign Co-Manager Frank Schubert. "I doubt the school has ever taken kids on a field trip to a traditional wedding," Schubert said.
When asked by the Yes on 8 campaign, The San Francisco Chronicle reporter said she did not know if the school had ever sponsored a field trip for students to a traditional wedding. Telling the Chronicle that the field trip was "a teachable moment," the school's principal believes it is perfectly appropriate for first graders to attend a same-sex wedding. Officials in other school districts disagree.
"Prop. 8 protects our children from being taught in public schools that 'same-sex marriage' is the same as traditional marriage," said Santa Ana Unified School District board member Rosemarie "Rosie" Avila. "We should not accept a court decision that results in public schools teaching our kids that gay marriage is okay. That is an issue for parents to discuss with their children according to their own values and beliefs. It shouldn't be forced on us against our will," Avila added.
The lesbian teacher's wedding was officiated by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. Newsom is featured in a Yes on 8 television ad, released last week, in which he arrogantly declares of same-sex marriage: "The door's wide open now. It's gonna happen, whether you like it or not."
The Yes on 8 campaign's ads explain that if the voters do not overturn the California Supreme Court's same-sex marriage ruling, teachers will be required to teach young children that there is no difference between gay marriage and traditional marriage. “It's totally unreasonable that a first grade field trip would be to a same-sex wedding," said Chip White, Press Secretary for Yes on 8. "This is overt indoctrination of children who are too young to understand it.”
The field trip underscores the Yes on 8 campaign’s message that unless Prop. 8 passes, children will be taught about same-sex marriage in public schools. “Not only can it happen, it has already happened,” White said.

U.S. Supreme Court Wrongs Parents' Rights (www.FRC.org)
You may remember the story of David and Tanya Parker, a Lexington, Massachusetts couple.David was arrested in 2006 because he insisted on being notified by school officials anytime homosexual topics were discussed in his son's classroom.
He made the reasonable request after his five-year-old kindergartner came home from school with a "diversity" book bag filled with homosexual propaganda.
A year later, the Wirthlin family experienced a similar attack on their parental rights after their seven-year-old read King and King in his second-grade classroom. The Parkers and the Wirthlins filed suit against the school and appealed it all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, which, unfortunately, refused to hear the case yesterday. As a result, the ruling of the federal appeals court will stand, leaving parents with almost no recourse against the liberal indoctrination running rampant in Massachusetts public schools.
The story of the Wirthlins and the Parkers is told in detail in interviews I held with them in Massachusetts, which you can watch at www.ivotevalues.org (click on the video "Gay Agenda in Schools").
A new ad just released by ProtectMarriage in California, where efforts are underway to correct a Supreme Court ruling imposing homosexual marriage, describes how the experience of these brave families will come to California if Proposal 8 fails. You can see the ad at protectmarriage.com.

Just as opponents of Proposition 8 are airing television commercials labeling as a lie the claim that gay marriage will be taught in California public schools unless Proposition 8 is passed, a Massachusetts couple is appearing in a powerful new ‘Yes on 8’ television ad that begins airing today explaining that gay marriage was taught to their seven year old son and his classmates in second grade. Massachusetts legalized gay marriage in 2003 and their public schools actively instruct young children on gay marriage.
Robb and Robin Wirthlin’s seven year old son, Joey, came home from school one day to tell them his teacher had read the class a book about a prince who married another prince and the two men went on to become, “King and King.” The book includes a scene of the two male princes kissing each other.
When the Wirthlins contacted school officials to complain about gay marriage being forced on young children in the Massachusetts public schools, they were told they had no right to control the curriculum, no right to be notified when gay marriage might be taught in school, and no right to pull their child from class.
Watch the ad at www.protectmarriage.com.
The Wirthlins courageously decided to fight the system, and filed a lawsuit in federal court in Boston. Unfortunately, both the district court and the Court of Appeals ruled against them, stating that parents had no right to be notified of this instruction or to remove their children from class while gay marriage was being taught. Just a few days ago the United States Supreme Court refused to hear their case.
The impact of gay marriage on California public schools has emerged as the top issue in the Proposition 8 campaign. Opponents of 8 claim that “Prop. 8 has nothing to do with schools” but as the Wirthlins’ experience in Massachusetts shows, it has everything to do with schools.
Ironically, the frantic efforts by the No on 8 campaign to deny any connection between gay marriage and public schools was totally undercut when a public school in San Francisco escorted a first grade class on a field trip to City Hall in order to witness a lesbian wedding officiated by Mayor Gavin Newsom. School officials defended their decision as providing the young children with a “teachable moment.”
One of the top leaders of the No on 8 campaign called the lesbian wedding field trip a “public relations disaster.” But that is not stopping them from continuing to deny that gay marriage will be taught in public schools unless Proposition 8 is passed.
In fact, the No on 8 campaign is raising money at an unprecedented pace. They have collected $3.7 million in the past week, and secured pledges of an additional $4 million.

San Francisco to Legalize Prostitution? (CRI)
Perhaps it's no surprise that America's most backwards city is taking even more steps to solidify its reputation as the radically anti-family capital.
In less than two weeks San Francisco residents will consider Proposition K, a local ballot measure that will disallow authorities from enforcing state prostitution laws.
Prop. K calls for legal prostitution in S.F.

All I Need to Know about Tolerance, I Learned in Kindergarten (www.FRC.org)
"We're learning to be allies." That's how one California mom discovered that something was terribly wrong at her kindergartner's school. Together with other five-year-olds, her daughter has spent the entire week learning what it means to be "tolerant."
This morning, without notifying a single parent, Faith Ringgold School of Art and Science kicked off "Coming Out Day" as part of "Gay and Lesbian History Month."
When parents called the school to complain, an office worker directed them to contact Hayward Unified School District. Despite several attempts, the District never answered its phone. Only from hallway posters did parents learn that the elementary school is hosting a "TransAction Gender-Bender Read-Aloud" next month.
In California and Massachusetts, where same-sex "marriage" is infecting the public school curriculum, parents are sounding the alarm. Stories like this one used to be isolated to the liberal pockets of San Francisco. Today, these extremists are moving through our schools with surprising ease, targeting younger and younger students as they go.
Opponents of Proposition 8 continue to argue that gay "marriage" won't affect our children. In a new ad funded by "No on Prop 8," California State Superintendent Jack O'Connell insists that "Proposition 8 has nothing to do with schools or kids." Either O'Connell is oblivious to what's happening in his own schools (one of which hauled off first graders to a lesbian wedding), or he is simply denying it to satisfy the agenda of the state's largest teachers' union.
Whatever his motive is, the pressure to pass Proposition 8 is mounting. Our sources on the ground in California say that Hollywood is making a powerful, last-minute push, bringing in several million dollars to launch its biggest ad buy yet. Make no mistake. The marriage amendment is the single most important issue on the ballot this election. A loss in California would be devastating to families and schoolchildren in every state. Re: Radical Homosex Attack on BOYS!
'Gay' pedophilia and Obama
October 20, 2008 By Linda Harvey © World Net Daily 2008
I'd been wondering what Kevin Jennings was doing these days. Jennings is the founder and long-time head of the radical [bleep]sexual group GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. GLSEN's mission has been to plant "gay" clubs and training programs in as many schools as possible. GLSEN now claims 4,000 "gay-straight alliances" exist, although this number is doubtful.
Certainly, there are way too many. The group's target has been to place these clubs in all U.S. schools, K through 12. If you think a kindergartener signing up for a "gay" club is ludicrous, you are not alone.
But Jennings has moved on to better things. He's now the Obama campaign fundraising co-chair for the "LGBT" community – that's "lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered." You can listen to Jennings lay out the rights-oriented rhetoric in two interviews with Joe Solmonese of the Human Rights Campaign, on the website "LGBT for Obama."
Their conversation, reviewing Jennings' record, dwells on preventing bullying of "gay" kids. Jennings constructed this Trojan horse for access to schools despite the ability of every community to punish school bullying without accommodating the "gay" agenda. This smokescreen hides the pornographic reality of GLSEN's "support" for kids under Jennings' leadership.
Remember the book "Queering Elementary Education," with the gushing blurb on the back from Obama's radical "social justice" colleague Bill Ayers? Well, the same book has a foreword written by Jennings. In researching GLSEN over the years, I've found horrific elements of what can only be called child sexual corruption. The more closely one reads the GLSEN material, the worse it gets.
Just about every type of sexual practice imaginable is apparently acceptable and even worthy of "celebration" by any age student or teacher as far as GLSEN is concerned. GLSEN also supports gender-distortion through cross-dressing, even for elementary school children.
Is this the kind of "school reform" Obama has in mind?
Some of GLSEN's recommended reading material implicitly condones criminal sexual contact between adults with minors. Many such incidents are described in erotic and nostalgic passages. I've yet to see "warnings" about the episodes in these books, which surely mislead thousands of vulnerable kids. I wrote in detail about what I will share below in 2002, yet the books in question, and many more just as objectionable, are still offered by GLSEN for sale on its site.
The problem starts with Jennings' own writings in books like "One Teacher In 10." Jennings' dream world is one where openly "gay" teachers serve as role models who influence students' sexual conduct. In the first edition of this book, Jennings, a former teacher, relates his encounter with a [bleep]sexually inclined male student:
Toward the end of my first year, during the spring of 1988, Brewster appeared in my office in the tow of one of my advisees ... to whom I had been "out" for a long time. "Brewster has something he needs to talk with you about," she intoned ominously. ... On a hunch, I suddenly asked, "What's his name?" Brewster's eyes widened briefly, and then out spilled a story about his involvement with an older man he had met in Boston. I listened, sympathized, offered advice. He left my office with a smile on his face. ... ("One Teacher in 10: Gay and Lesbian Educators tell their Stories," Alyson Publications, 1994.)
What did Jennings recommend to Brewster that brought a smile to his face? It sounds like he affirmed this teen/adult [bleep]sexual relationship, instead of contacting the boy's parents or the authorities. Is this just the kind of wisdom we hope Obama consultants use in formulating education policy? Child predators as implementers of "social justice," perhaps?
The book "Growing Up Gay/Growing Up Lesbian," recommended on the GLSEN website for kids in grades seven to 12, describes two 10-year-old boys in a very graphic sexual encounter (pp.99-100). In the same book, an adult man named Eliot reflects on his youth:
My first experience was with a much older man, a friend of Derek's [his father]. ... When I was 15, he must have been 29, 30 ... I seduced him. ... It was a wild night. We did everything.
This is the dearest fantasy of pedophiles and pederasts – the pretense that the youth seduces them.
Another GLSEN recommended book, "Rainbow Boys," features an episode of [bleep]sexual sex between one of the main characters, a 17-year-old boy, and a 29-year-old man he has just met via the Internet ( p. 148). Again, a great influence for kids.
Fluid sexual activity and [bleep]sexual experimentation is another common theme in GLSEN-recommended books. "My sexuality is as fluid, infinite, undefinable, and ever-changing as the north-flowing river. ... Sexuality is not black or white ... it is gray. ... I know that defining myself is not so simple. ..." writes a 16-year-old in "Revolutionary Voices : A Multicultural Queer Youth Anthology" (p.167).
Another girl writes in the same book: "I am a 15-year-old dyke artist and activist. I've got flaming pink hair and a passion for genderf–k in both directions" (p. 28).
I could go on and on, unfortunately. The GLSEN "Book Link" introduction states that the selections are recommended to "... empower our mission to ensure safe schools for all LGBT students."
So finally, then, this is what is meant by "safe schools": lots of weird, early sex by kids, some of it with adults.
Obama needs to remove Kevin Jennings immediately from this position. And voters need some answers to the following questions:
* Does Obama believe children are "born gay" and should be able to declare this identity in grade school and join a "gay" club? Kevin Jennings does.
* Does Obama believe consensual relationships between 15-year-olds and 29-nine-year-olds are OK? Jennings thinks so. (Some think Planned Parenthood does, too – another question for Obama.)
* Does Obama believe a "safe" school is one where no one can criticize [bleep]sexual behavior? Jennings does.
* Does Obama believe that, with the CDC reporting HIV rates rising around 12 percent per year for 13 to 24-year-old males who have sex with males (MSM), we still cannot tell our boys to abstain from [bleep]sexual behavior? Will he appoint clueless federal health officials? Kevin Jennings would approve.
* Does Obama believe kids can decide at age 9 or 10 that they were born in the wrong body, want to switch genders and have schools support this disorder? Jennings does.
* Does Obama believe the Christian moral standard that [bleep]sexuality is wrong needs to be suppressed and depicted as "hateful" in the public square, including schools? Jennings does.
* Does Obama believe that if same-sex "marriage" is legalized, this new "law" should be shoved down the throats of all children and their parents via social engineering in public schools? Jennings does.
* Does Obama believe that "social justice" and "school reform" require students to not just tolerate, but approve of [bleep]sexuality and gender change? That the "yuck" factor simply will not be allowed, because it reflects bigotry? Jennings does
.
If we want a totalitarian, pansexual society, with its accompanying disease, dysfunction and abuse, and no room for nobility, goodness and tradition, then we need to make sure we vote for Obama with all his various revolutionary hangers-on, including Jennings.
If, on the other hand, we envision another America, it's time to speak up now

[bleep]sexual propaganda rampant in Mass. schools
Pete Chagnon - OneNewsNow - 10/28/2008
The president of a pro-family organization in Massachusetts says public schools in the Bay State have been negatively influenced by [bleep]sexual marriage.
Mass Resistance president Brian Camenker says that immediately after Massachusetts courts made [bleep]sexual marriage legal in his state, many schools had assemblies celebrating the decision. Those assemblies featured pro-[bleep]sexual speakers, teachers who announced that they would "marry" their same-sex partners, and [bleep]sexuals who announced they would pursue adoption.
Camenker points out the [bleep]sexual agenda was even promoted in middle schools and elementary schools. "David Parker was the parent of a kindergartner in Lexington, where they were telling the kids about same-sex families being normal just like their mother and father," he explains.
"And they had gotten to the point, even by 2005, where they considered this so important to tell kids that they refused to allow parents to opt their own kids out of that propaganda and wouldn't even tell them when it happened."
Parker sued the school system, but Camenker says the judges ruled that, because [bleep]sexual marriage was legal in that state, parents had no right to opt out and also said that the schools were promoting good citizenship.
Camenker warns that public schools have become a major target of the [bleep]sexual agenda, and that the passage of [bleep]sexual marriage in other states will only embolden the movement.

Nancy Pelosi's Values: Coming Soon to a Street Corner Near You? (www.FRC.org)
As part of a multi-city dragnet that involved over 93 agencies, the FBI announced yesterday that it rescued 47 children trapped in a dangerous U.S. prostitution ring. So far, "Operation Cross Country II" is responsible for the arrest of over 600 people, and police hope to have several other leads before the sweep is over. Of the dozens of girls (and a handful of boys) taken to safety, most were between the ages of 13 and 17.
According to child advocate Ernie Allen, "[This] is the latest evidence that [sex trafficking] is a problem taking place on Main Street USA. The latest estimates put more than 300,000 American children at risk of "forced prostitution." That number is bound to skyrocket if Speaker Nancy Pelosi's hometown has its way. Next week, San Francisco voters will decide the fate of Proposition K, a measure that would legalize prostitution in the Bay Area and ban local authorities from prosecuting it.
If it passes, San Francisco would become the first major U.S. city to decriminalize the sale of sex. The initiative, which even radical Mayor Gavin Newsome opposes, would turn San Francisco into a hub for the very sex trafficking the FBI is actively fighting!
You may wonder where the Speaker of the House stands on the issue. Believe it or not, one of the few groups to endorse Proposition K (apart from the Erotic Service Providers Union) is the San Francisco Democratic Party -- of which Nancy Pelosi is a member.
While it is unclear whether she has taken an official position on Proposition K, one thing is certain. Pelosi will continue to use her power to import these radical San Francisco values to Washington, D.C.

Ballot Busters: Adoption (www.FRC.org)
Through the years, FRC has strongly supported adoption laws where the well-being of children-not a radical political agenda-comes first. Along with their push to redefine marriage, same-sex couples have vied to parent foster children and orphans. But we believe (and the research shows) that public policy should strive to put kids in a stable home with a married mother and father.
In Arkansas, voters have the chance to ban unmarried couples (heterosexual and homosexual) from adopting and providing foster care. Act 1 would amend the state's constitution to protect these vulnerable kids from being placed with same-sex or cohabiting parents, which studies show have more incidents of violence, substance abuse, and mental disorders.
On this edition of Washington Watch Weekly, we'll talk about Act 1 and the other ballot initiatives that will have a significant impact at the polls next week. Some Christians, who don't particularly care for the candidates, say they're going to sit this election out. Chuck Colson joins me to talk about believers' "sacred duty" to vote. We'll also share a success story from New Jersey, where your phone calls and emails put an end to a hotel policy that encouraged abortion.

Obama offers 'open door' to gender-confused
Jim Brown - OneNewsNow - 11/11/2008
A conservative activist is expressing alarm over president-elect Barack Obama's plan to expand a Clinton-era executive order that provides special protections for federal employees based on their sexual behavior.
The Obama-Biden transition team has included both "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" in its non-discrimination policy for applicants for employment in the incoming Obama administration. President Bush, much to the chagrin of many social conservatives, did not overturn Bill Clinton's executive order prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. However, the Clinton order does not address so-called gender identity.
Word of Obama's planned executive order has excited his allies on the left. Christopher Anders, senior legislative counsel with the American Civil Liberties Union, says "president-elect Obama and vice president-elect Biden, by explicitly rejecting the bigotry and intolerance of the past, are committing that gay, lesbian, and transgender professionals can serve in government without fear of discrimination."
Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (www.aftah.com), says Obama's new non-discrimination policy will be an "open door" for gender-confused and cross-dressing federal employees.
"What's the Obama administration going to do to protect women in federal restrooms?" the activist asks. "Since men [wearing] dresses apparently are going to be protected under gender-identity provisions, what about the women in the restrooms in the White House and other federal [php]buildings? What's going to be done to protect their rights?"
LaBarbera even wonders if there is going to have to be a new federal outlay for the building of new "gender-free, transgender restrooms."
The president-elect has been a supporter of a version of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) that offers special protections for transgender employees.[/php]

Silence 'deafening' over murder by homosexual
Allie Martin and Jody Brown - OneNewsNow - 12/2/2008
A pro-family activist is questioning why there is no outrage over the murder of a college student by a homosexual.
On November 21, William Smithson, 43, of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to life in prison for the September 2006 strangulation murder of 23-year-old Jason Shephard. Smithson, a homosexual, murdered Shephard after slipping him GHB, a date rape drug, then hid the body in the basement of his home.
Diane Gramley, president of the American Family Association of Pennsylvania, says it is ironic that homosexuals used the murder ten years ago of Matthew Shepherd to push for hate crimes laws -- yet remain largely silent about the murder of Jason Shephard.
"[It's] a true double standard, because Jason Shephard's murder has been under the radar screen -- and basically, unless you're in Pennsylvania monitoring this kind of stuff, you don't hear about it," says Gramley. "But Matthew Shepherd? Everyone in the country knows who Matthew Shepherd is."
Gramley points out homosexual activists claim Matthew Shepherd was targeted because he was homosexual. But ABC News later revealed that Matthew Shepherd was the victim of a botched robbery -- a finding the media has largely ignored.
The Pennsylvania activist wonders where the outrage is from homosexuals over the 2006 murder. In a press release, she describes the silence from that community as "deafening."
"The murders of both Matthew Shepherd and Jason Shephard were tragic, but one murder is being used by homosexual activists to push their agenda of special rights," she states. "Murder is murder and increased penalties for attacking a specially protected group listed in a hate crimes law is a waste of everyone's time and resources. Such a law creates unequal protection under the law."
She cites two other murders committed by homosexual men that met with relative silence in the homosexual community -- the murder of 13-year-old Jesse Dirkhising in Arkansas in 1999, and the 2002 murder of Mary Stachowicz in Chicago.

Kids are coming out younger, but are schools ready to handle the complex issues of identity and sexuality? For Larry King, the question had tragic implications.
Ramin Setoodeh - NEWSWEEK - Jul 28, 2008
At 15, Lawrence King was small—5 feet 1 inch—but very hard to miss. In January, he started to show up for class at Oxnard, Calif.'s E. O. Green Junior High School decked out in women's accessories. On some days, he would slick up his curly hair in a Prince-like bouffant. Sometimes he'd paint his fingernails hot pink and dab glitter or white foundation on his cheeks. "He wore makeup better than I did," says Marissa Moreno, 13, one of his classmates. He bought a pair of stilettos at Target, and he couldn't have been prouder if he had on a varsity football jersey. He thought nothing of chasing the boys around the school in them, teetering as he ran.
But on the morning of Feb. 12, Larry left his glitter and his heels at home. He came to school dressed like any other boy... Behind him, Brandon McInerney pulled up a chair...a half hour into class, Brandon quietly stood up. Then, without anyone's noticing, he removed a handgun that he had somehow sneaked to school, aimed it at Larry's head, and fired a single shot...
The Larry King shooting became the most prominent gay-bias crime since the murder of Matthew Shepard 10 years ago. But despite all the attention and outrage, the reason Larry died isn't as clear-cut as many people think...
How do you protect legitimate, personal expression while preventing inappropriate, sometimes harmful, behavior? Larry King was, admittedly, a problematical test case: he was a troubled child who flaunted his sexuality and wielded it like a weapon...
Larry's life was hard from the beginning. His biological mother was a drug user; his father wasn't in the picture. When Greg and Dawn King took him in at age 2...he also acted out from an early age. "We couldn't take him to the grocery store without him shoplifting," Greg says. "We couldn't get him to clean up his room. We sent him upstairs—he'd get a screwdriver and poke holes in the walls." He was prescribed ADHD medication, and Greg says Larry was diagnosed with reactive attachment disorder, a rare condition in which children never fully bond with their caregivers or parents... At 14, Larry told Greg he thought he was bisexual. "It wouldn't matter either way to me," Greg says. "I thought maybe some of the problems would go away if we supported him." But the therapist told Greg he thought that Larry was just trying to get attention and might not understand what it meant to be gay.
In January, after a few months at Casa Pacifica, Larry decided to dress like a girl. He went to school accessorized to the max, and his already colorful personality got louder. He accused a girl to her face of having breast implants. Another girl told him she didn't like his shoes. "I don't like your necklace," Larry snapped back. Larry called his mom from Casa Pacifica to tell her that he wanted to get a sex-change operation....Legally, they couldn't stop him from wearing girls' clothes, according to the California Attorney General's Office, because of a state hate-crime law that prevents gender discrimination.
Larry, being Larry, pushed his rights as far as he could. During lunch, he'd sidle up to the popular boys' table and say in a high-pitched voice, "Mind if I sit here?" In the locker room, where he was often ridiculed, he got even by telling the boys, "You look hot," while they were changing...
...But the next day, he was back wearing even more. Larry told the teacher he could wear makeup if he wanted to. He said that Ms. Epstein told him that was his right. Joy Epstein was one of the school's three assistant principals... was openly gay to her colleagues...
Some teachers believe that she was encouraging Larry's flamboyance, to help further an "agenda," as some put it... "a lesbian vice principal with a political agenda." Larry's father also blames Epstein. He's hired an attorney and says he is seriously contemplating a wrongful-death lawsuit. "She started to confuse her role as a junior-high principal," Greg King says. "I think that she was asserting her beliefs for gay rights."
The staff at E. O. Green tried to help as Larry experimented with his identity, but he liked to talk in a roar. One teacher asked him why he taunted the boys in the halls, and Larry replied, "It's fun to watch them squirm."
Brandon McInerney was different. Larry really liked Brandon. One student remembered that Larry would often walk up close to Brandon and stare at him. Larry had studied Brandon so well, he once knew when he had a scratch on his arm—Larry even claimed that he had given it to Brandon by mistake, when the two were together. Larry told one of his close friends that he and Brandon had dated but had broken up. He also said that he'd threatened to tell the entire school about them, if Brandon wasn't nicer to him. Quest, Brandon's defense attorney, says there was no relationship between Larry and Brandon, and one of Larry's teachers says that Larry was probably lying to get attention.
Like Larry, Brandon had his share of troubles... The commotion over Larry's appearance finally forced the school office to take formal action. On Jan. 29, every teacher received an e-mail with the subject line STUDENT RIGHTS. It was written by Sue Parsons, the eighth-grade assistant principal. "We have a student on campus who has chosen to express his sexuality by wearing make-up," the e-mail said without mentioning Larry by name. "It is his right
She was approached by several boys in her class who said that Larry had started taunting them in the halls—"I know you want me," he'd say—and their friends were calling them gay.
And then there was Valentine's Day. A day or two before the shooting, the school was buzzing with the story about a game Larry was playing with a group of his girlfriends in the outdoor quad. The idea was, you had to go up to your crush and ask them to be your Valentine. Several girls named boys they liked, then marched off to complete the mission.
When it was Larry's turn, he named Brandon, who happened to be playing basketball nearby. Larry walked right on to the court in the middle of the game and asked Brandon to be his Valentine. Brandon's friends were there and started joking that he and Larry were going to make "gay babies" together. At the end of lunch, Brandon passed by one of Larry's friends in the hall. She says he told her to say goodbye to Larry, because she would never see him again...
"We failed Brandon," a teacher says. "We didn't know the bullying was coming from the other side—Larry was pushing as hard as he could, because he liked the attention."
Greg King doesn't feel sympathy for Brandon, but he does believe his son sexually harassed him. He's resentful that the gay community has appropriated his son's murder as part of a larger cause. "I think the gay-rights people want it to be a gay-rights issue, because it makes a poster child out of my son," King says....
...when Brandon goes to trial. He is charged with first-degree murder and a hate crime, and is scheduled to be arraigned this week. Hundreds of his classmates have signed a petition asking that he be tried in juvenile court. The district attorney wants him tried as an adult, which could result in a prison sentence of 51 years to life. "Brandon was being terrorized," says Bill, who has set up a public defense fund in his son's name.
"He was being stalked almost, to the degree of the school should have never let this happen."

Re: Radical Homosex Attack on BOYS!
I post this story on the 'Radical Homosex Attack on BOYS' thread because of the similarities to the Jesse Dirkhising Hate Crime Torture Murder - which was Covered Up by the Old Media for any number of reasons - but particularly because of Bad Timing...
In that slick wilie klinton and recalled governot davis of kalifornia were in line to get a huge bag of money from the Hollywerid Homosex Lobby at a highly public fundraiser the same week the Hate Crime against a 13 year old Boy was committed by two Homo-Anal Coprophile Ephebophiles...
In as much as they invoked the Bogus Fraud of 'hate crime' in the Matthew Sheperd murder as an excuse to sign draconian mandatory homosex pandering laws for the california schools - the Old Media certainly didnt want to report on Real Hate Crimes by Homosex Perverts, if only because of their deep concern that the public might actually be informed - as opposed to indoctrinated.

'Gay' Reaction to Mrs. Stachowicz’s Murder: Silence to Applause 12/4/2002
By Allyson Smith
"I really don't feel sorry for her. She paid a very steep price for being an arrogant religious fascist. Too bad for her." – "Iris," in a posting on the ACLU Online Forum.
"Quite frankly, if anyone in this case was being ‘persecuted’ it was Mr. Gutierrez. Unfortunately for the victim this was a lesson that she learned too hard and too late. Maybe this will give pause to other people who similarly try to ‘help’ homosexuals." — "Silence Dogood," on ACLU Online Forum.
In the three weeks since Mary Stachowicz was murdered by homosexual Nicholas Gutierrez in Chicago, some pro-homosexualists have reacted with much more sympathy for the ‘gay’ killer than for his Christian victim. In fact, several even have gone as far as saying that Mrs. Stachowicz deserved to die for questioning the man’s lifestyle.
Predictably, the mainstream media and homosexual advocacy organizations have reacted to Mary Stachowicz’s murder the same way they did to 13-year-old Jesse Dirkhising’s torture-murder at the hands of two homosexual men in 1999: by avoiding it.
As of December 4, no formal condemnations of Mrs. Stachowicz’s murder have been issued by leading groups such as the Human Rights Campaign, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, or the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Soulforce, a group that works in churches to oppose the traditional Christian view of homosexuality, issued no press statement, but a spokeswoman did give a quote to The Washington Times:
"We condemn this murder, like we do all murders," said Laura Montgomery Rutt, spokeswoman for Soulforce. "A hate crime needs to have an intent to intimidate a whole class of people. If in this case, it was directed at this person and intended to intimidate Christians, that would be a hate crime in my mind."
A devout Catholic, Mary Stachowicz met her martyrdom while working at the Sikorski Funeral Home on Chicago’s northwest side, where she got to know Gutierrez, 19, who lived in a second-floor apartment above the funeral home. On the afternoon of November 13, Stachowicz attended Mass at St. Hyacinth parish across the street, then returned to the funeral home and went to visit Gutierrez in his apartment.
According to Chicago police, an argument broke out when Mrs. Stachowicz lectured Gutierrez about his lifestyle and his lack of direction in life. Gutierrez later told police that he had issues with his mother and that the way Stachowicz was talking to him gave him flashbacks of his mother that angered him.
When Stachowicz asked him, "Why do you [have sex with] boys instead of girls?" Gutierrez snapped. In a fit of rage, he punched, kicked, stabbed and strangled the 51-year-old wife and mother of four. Gutierrez then stuffed her body into a crawl space under the floor of his apartment, where it remained for two days until he confessed to police.
Family members were baffled by Stachowicz’s disappearance. They posted fliers in neighborhoods, and her daughter made a public plea for her safe return.
"My sister is very healthy. She's very stable. She has the closest family you can imagine," Stachowicz’s younger sister, Alice Kosinski, told NBC5.com. "Her faith would not allow for anything out of the ordinary."
After learning of Gutierrez’s confession, Stachowicz’s loved ones agreed that the circumstances of her murder were in keeping with her character. Kosinski told The Chicago Tribune, "Because she's so Catholic, there's no room for being gay in the Catholic Church."
Friend Mary Coleman said, "Those of us who knew her immediately hear her soft voice saying something like, 'God wouldn't approve of the way you're living your life.’ That's how Mary did things."
Rev. Francis Rog of St. Hyacinth Church told ABC 7 Chicago news, "She was a very intense person, concerned about the good of the parish, always seeking things for the poor as well as spiritual welfare for people."
Police recovered Stachowicz’s body on November 15 and charged Gutierrez two days later with first-degree murder, concealing a homicidal death, and burglary for attempting to steal money from Stachowicz’s purse.
Chicago local media reported these events, choosing headlines devoid of the words "gay" or "homosexual." In contrast, several homosexual publications – including Gay.com/PlanetOut.com, Gay People’s Chronicle, and the Washington Blade -- did use "gay" in their headlines.
Gay.com began running the story on November 19, a full week before the first mainstream news story appeared in The Washington Times.
The same day, National Review Online columnist Rod Dreher published a commentary titled These Victims Are People, Too" wherein he lamented "the deafening media silence around the savage murder of Mary Stachowicz" and speculated on its cause:
"One cannot help wondering if the upright citizens who report the news don't privately share the view of gay blogger James Wagner, who said of Stachowicz’s strangling:
The woman who did such great evil is dead, but unfortunately the evil and the church and the society which creates it is not, and it will continue to destroy Nicholas Gutierrez and many others. I shake, safely sitting here at home, fully understanding, and fully familiar with, the horrible impact her words must have had for a man already so terribly damaged by his society, and his own mother.
Dreher added, "I believe many, and probably most, journalists share the unspoken assumption that Christians bring such trouble on themselves."
That assumption appears to be shared by pro-homosexual cyber citizens. A search for "Mary Stachowicz" on message boards, e-mail lists, and Web logs (blogs) turned up several people who reacted viciously toward Stachowicz and Christianity.
For example, James Wagner’s boyfriend, Barry, expressed the hope on his blog that "maybe [Stachowicz’s murder] will strike fear in the hearts of a few fundamentalists" and then asked, "Where do I send a check for his (Gutierrez’s) defense fund?"
James and Barry’s statements drew the following response from fellow homosexual Michael Benedetto:
"I think that if gays are going to continue to have any credibility in politics, our sympathies in cases like this are going to have to lie first and foremost with the victims. And that's one upsetting thing about Barry's and James' posts: Until the criticism started to roll in, the only sympathy they expressed was for the wrong person."
Elsewhere, Benedetto wrote, "[Y]es, the woman (Stachowicz) was clearly a meddlesome b---- who didn't understand that the lives of her co-workers were none of her business. That does not make her any less the victim, or absolve her killer of any of his guilt."
"I don’t condone this murder, BUT …."
Several posts implied that Stachowicz had brought on her own death. One man wrote to a Yahoo discussion forum, "It's Sad Someone Was Murdered, BUT... ...I do wish the Religious Wrong would learn to mind their own business."
"Iris" wrote to the ACLU Online Forum: "I am in no way condoning this man's behavior. Murder is murder. He should receive life or the death penalty for his actions. But one fact remains ... if she would have been minding her own [expletive] business instead of attempting to ram her religion where it didn't belong, none of this would have ever happened. I really don't feel sorry for her. She paid a very steep price for being an arrogant religious fascist. Too bad for her."
"Silence Dogood" agreed: "I won't go so far as to say that she deserved what she got, no one deserves to die, but I won't exactly be shedding any tears for her. Quite frankly, if anyone in this case was being 'persecuted' it was Mr. Gutierrez. Unfortunately for the victim this was a lesson that she learned too hard and too late. Maybe this will give pause to other people who similarly try to ‘help’ homosexuals."
"Real" hate crimes
Other discussions centered on the characteristics of hate crimes. "Real" hate crimes, explained ACLU Online Forum member "morningstar," must be like Matthew Shepard’s murder; they must be premeditated and target a group.
"KingFred" wrote to the MacAddict Forum: "Since (Gutierrez has) already admitted he did the crime, there's no question he should do the time. But ‘hate crime’? Don't see it here. He didn't go out to get himself a Christian. He did in a person who may have been berating him, using her Christian beliefs as ‘weapons'. That doesn't justify what he did by any means, but it may explain it."
Catholic League President William Donohue summed up the problems with hate crimes statutes as illustrated by Mary Stachowicz’s murder in a November 26 press release:
"A few thoughts on this matter: a) this (Mary’s murder) will not be listed as a hate crime, thus showing how useless this category of crime is; b) the killer is going to be charged with a capital offense, thus showing once again how useless this category of crime is; c) Mary Stachowicz will never be remembered the way Matthew Shepard is, thus showing how politically corrupt the whole concept of hate crime legislation really is. The fact is she was murdered for having a Catholic-informed conscience."
Others blamed the Roman Catholic Church for Stachowicz’s murder. On the Naked Writing blog, "JodyW" commented, "Gutierrez is responsible for what he did. So the RCC [Roman Catholic Church] is responsible for continuing to put forth a silly, stupid and factually wrong doctrine of ‘objective disorders’ and ‘intrinsic moral evil’ regarding homosexuality. For all that that evil that that doctrine has done and continues to do, they have a lot to be held accountable for."
Perhaps the cruelest comment of all was this from a San Francisco man on Yahoo: "The b---- had it coming to her. I'm glad he killed her. Too bad he'll probably spend the rest of his life in prison getting his little butt pounded, but still, I'm glad he killed her. The b---- deserved to die."
"We're not doing that well," she said. "It just doesn't make any sense, and somehow we're going to have to make our peace with it."
