Protest & Arrest what is the best advice

I am currently examining information sources on Dealing with the police while taking part in peaceful protest. I am no expert in the field of the police and arrest and was wishing to get together the best, accurate and up to date info for the UK. I have posted one example below for appraisal by those with knowledge of these issues. Hopefully for those who wish to take part in peaceful protest we could have a rock solid list of information for people to adhere to so as to legally carry out protest.

I have found a few which show the police backing down, without " it is the duty of everybody to
at the very least have the types of weapons the police has and BRING THEM" though in the UK generally police are not armed.

Know where you are legally allowed to congregate, do not bring or brandish weapons, do not block or disrupt traffic, do not threaten people or start physical confrontations with onlookers, participants, or police. If the cops tell you to disperse or give you direction, do what you are told without being an asshole about it. That's the best way to hold a peaceful protest and avoid getting arrested - oryour ass kicked- by police.

The above is not an entirely fool-proof method but it's been my direct observation that obeying the law seriously cuts back the chances of getting into legal trouble.

"Civilization can only revive when there shall come into being in a number of individuals a new tone of mind, independent of the prevalent one among the crowds, and in opposition to it- a tone of mind which will gradually win influence over the collective one, and in the end determine its character. Only an ethical movement can rescue us from barbarism, and the ethical comes into existence only in individuals."

i am familiar with the freeman movement
and common law. that is a very rare case when anyone gets away with it.

if you even mention common law here you will be scraped on the pavement with a knee
    in your back.

You and I both know who the police are really working for.....

Filming the police is not only 'NOT' illegal (it is actually LAWFUL), but proportional to an increase in police powers as described by Lord Carlile

Lord Carlile Statement on Photography and Terror Laws 2009 (excerpts)

'It should be emphasised that photography of the police by the media or amateurs remains as legitimate as before, unless the photograph
is likely to be of use to a terrorist. This is a high bar. It is inexcusable for police officers ever to use this provision to interfere with the rights
    of individuals to take photographs.

'The police must adjust to the undoubted fact that the scrutiny of them by members of the public is at least proportional to any increase in
police powers - given the ubiquity of photograph and video-enabled mobile phones. Police officers who use force or threaten force in this
context run the real risk of being prosecuted themselves for one or more several possible criminal and disciplinary offences'.

Here is one overused act (section 43 and 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000) which protesting individuals, whether they be MRAs or a freeman-on-the-land had better learn the basic mechanics of, if they ever want to understand and repel a powerful tool of the state.
