I knew a man who was raped while in the military. RIP (youngish age).

He was very disturbed and dangerous because he was disturbed. Very sad.

I think things start off well intentioned, but it's just another way to attract scavengers with palms open for money.

The shame of these silly claims of "half" or "one third" of women who are raped is that there is no support for them. For so many years, misandrists have been making up statistics for either political or economic gain that even the main-stream media can't be bothered with them any more. So if some sector really IS suffering from an abnormally high rate of rape or sexual abuse, any claims will be assumed to be more "crying 'wolf!'"

This kind of thing does genuine victims no good at all. Like any area of crime, any statistics should be supportable with evidence, not just scaremongering rhetoric.

Hmmm, excellent points. What if someone was drafted and they wanted to go home. Could this be a pass to get out of the war? Perhaps all men should go on the register and leave the war to the women, lol. Or perhaps women as victims get to go home too.
