More DV BS
This was on the BBC news, I then checked the website, it's on there too. It basically talks about DV, and as usual, women are the victims of big bad mean nasty men, on the TV, men don't even get a mention, but they do get ONE mention on the website.
They mention how many women die at the hands of their partner, but not how many men.
They say that something should be done to help women, but not men.
Here it is: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7452068.stm
The usual claptrap, amateur reporting, with half the facts missing.

Re: More DV BS
What are the real statistics on how many women and men die by the hands of their intimate partners? I've heard it said that the Bureau of Justice stats cannot be trusted. So what are the actual stats? Where do we find reliable sources of information on this subject?

Re: More DV BS
I wish I knew Tera, but even if we did know, it would still be avoided by the press like the plague, just to push their own agenda.

Re: More DV BS
On a continuation of the story, the BBC pushed the feminist DV agenda even further by talking to a couple of people about the DV situation, behind the news readers was a massive picture of a woman curled up in the corner, as if she's just been beaten, they had 2 guests, one was a woman who had suffered DV, the other was a woman from Woman's Aid.
The only thing that was discussed was how DV affects women, and that the effect it has on women should be taught in schools. It was also suggested that taxpayers money be used to fund round the clock advertising to highlight the plight of women in DV situations.
Men were, as FUCKING usual, ignored, not even mentioned, except as the perpetrators of course. I am so pissed off at this, women are shown as victims, while men are painted as evil, yet they want to use evil men's taxes to pay for advertising to highlight their cause.
The BBC are an absolute disgrace to report on such a matter in such an amateur fashion. I'm glad I don't pay for a TV license, and never will, they can shove it up their shitter.
