Mom accused of gluing tot's hands to wall

A Texas mother is accused of gluing her two-year-old daughter's hands to a wall and beating her with a belt as a potty training punishment.

WFAA-TV reports the toddler remains in critical condition in hospital Friday.

The girl's grandmother called police Tuesday when she found the girl unresponsive at the family's Dallas home.

The child's aunt said her niece has a concussion, a broken leg and ribs and is covered in bruises.

The 22-year-old mother, Elizabeth Escalona, was arrested for injuring the child and is behind bars, police said.

A police arrest report alleges Escalona glued her child's hands until they bled, kicked her in the stomach, hit her with a milk jug and beat her with a belt.

The alleged abuse happened after the toddler soiled her pants.

Take this woman out to Death Valley, give her a 1 liter canteen of water and a package of twinkies and tell her she can live if she can cross the desert. No excuses, no crap. This woman needs to be removed from society at all costs.
