Personally, I had 4-5 partners before I met my current partner of 10 years,
just finding someone that I could actually get along with was the hardest part.
Most of them were really bad tempered trolls that put on a nice face, until we shifted in together, then the gloves came off.

I'll say one other thing too, if Stace(y) and I ever split, I'm going to stay single, as I don't really see anyone in this latest crop of women that would make a good partner, let alone a good mother.
I hate to say that, but that is reality.

The unanswered calls and texts could be explained by the fact that a lot of places that men work, ban cell-phone use, for either the reasons of safety or productivity.
There was a guy that I know well, that I used to employ, he used to be lambasted by his girl-friend during the day, with texts and calls (she was an advertising editor), I said to him if he didn't use the phone only in smoko breaks or lunch time, I would fire him.

This got back to the GF and she rang me up and gave me a fair bollocking.
All I said was, "This guy was being paid by me, I expect him to be doing work for me, not holding a continous bloody chat session backwards and forwards with you, haven't you got any work to do at your job?"

It was about that time that she really lost it with me, calling me a few bad words and saying that I had no right to prevent her from contacting her BF at work.

I spoke to the young fella and said be careful here, you seriously don't want to be involved with a woman like this, she sounds more like a stalker than a GF.

I confiscated the guys phone one day, the texts were coming thick and fast, he was getting nothing done when we were trying to install conduits before a concrete floor was being poured, a pressure thing at any time.

I sacked the guy in the end, a shame in itself, but I expect work out of my guys, he was a good electrician, but it caused workplace problems (other guys were saying this fella wasn't pulling his weight).

Over a woman of all things, damn.

You were quite right to sack him,your money,your time and the rest of the chaps will respect your decision,as he was not pulling his weight,which causes problems with the rest if not nipped in the bud.

I was talking to the guy in the pub about 2 weeks later.
She dumped him, seems he had no job, he did say that she was looking to get him to sue me for unfair dismissal, blah blah blah.

Women like this give all women a bad name, you just have to know the warning signs.

I am going to re-hire the guy once his temporary contract ends with the company where he works, we did get on well, in fact just like a brother.
I thought long and hard before I sacked him, a loss like that to a business is just not good and he had the respect of his co-workers (all things aside).

Best thing is, I sent an e-mail to her workplace supervisor and she got the sack for "non-work related communications"

Be warned, if you are at work, you'd better be working, not texting or surfing the net (hence Bebo and facebook, it is full of people wasting company time and getting paid for it)

People these days that work in offices have no morals.
