Even visitation can be hell for those lucky enough to get it.

At best...most men get four days a month. In court they are called "defendants" and are granted "visitation".

Dad who??!! That happens to many of us and you cannot get others to help unless you get lucky with timing and fall upon sympathetic sorts who happen to be in a good mood that day.

If they're real, and they could be...she's as fruity as I always thought she was. It's disturbing to think that it's possible that a judge would enforce such nonsense!

Its the best for the child....what I believe though she uses this so she has a reason to keep the kids away from guy because he is not following the rules. And if he is, well he is in permanent control. This is humilating and just wrong...poor kids that woman is nuts

Disturbing? It happens all the time.

Like when I tried getting rid of my order to pay day care. I proved that there had not been any day care. I proved that there was not presently any day care. I proved there was no need for day care in the future.

The Judge asked my exe if she would like it to continue and she replied "Yes". The Judge asked if the was thinking about using day care and she replied "Yes".

Game over, I have to pay it. And I could not get a refund of past day care paid even though I had proven that there had been absolutely no day car expenses. And this was over a period of years, not a month or whatever.

Also, it is not legal to make me pay day care, this is over and above child support and other financial payments. Why doe the Judge make me pay something beyond CT State Law? I don't know and what can I do about it anyway?

If the Mom says she wants it, the Judge will provide it as it is in the "best interest of the child". Mainly an aggressive exe who can stomach asking for these outrageous things is what you need to watch out for. After awhile some learn to just ask and lie about things as they may get awarded something and if caught in a lie there is no consequence.

If a Dad has custody there would never have been day care support in the first place.

She wins either way.

If he upholds her rules, she has control of him and I'll bet she loves that.

If he fails to uphold her rules, he is a bad influence and the kids should be kept from him.

It's a setup from the very beginning.
