I noted the almost processed perfection of some of the bodies masquerading in the smallest clothes — perfection that raises the questions: how much of this is really about women feeling liberated, and how much is a reflection of what "raunch culture" is making women believe they should be?

Yes, only if you exclude the empowering aspect I mentioned. Selling women a bad idea based (especially anything bashing or undermining men) on the false premiss of it being empowering - encompasses a larger number of gullible women being punctually receptive - then a similarly bad idea being sold to men.

And really, what would be so wrong about a guy perving in the corner? If a guy were to do that would he somehow be violating the other people there?

Apart from it being 'ever so, ever so' and woman oriented, I see nothing all that merits objection.

It is behind closed doors; it seems clean and discreet; even the well off need playtime; no one seems to be vomiting in the hall or breaking the windows.

Not everyone is so curious about other people and sex but I would guess that many women have fanatsies of sex in 'public' places or with strangers, and here is a venue that allows a relatively safe and controlled expression of that. It also seems to enable that exhibitionism that many 'beautiful young things' like to engage in but with nicer lingerie and a glass of champers to stroll with.

It is all surrounded by hypocricy of course, and a touch of misandry, but perhaps less blatent than an ad for a car. There is a touch of prostitution about it with the 'Madam' taking the punters' money at the door and it is 'equality' in action to see that women have to pay for a change.

It is all a bit grown-up Doctor's and Nurses, with the well heeled and silky-knickered playing with each other's bits. Who gives a toss?
