    An East Vancouver mother is furious after staff booted her out of Bard on the Beach because she brought her baby along at a Saturday afternoon matinee.
    Now, Leanne Scorah wants to raise awareness of Bard’s policy that prohibits children under six from attending the annual theatre series.
    “They’re discriminating against women who have chosen to breastfeed,” Scorah said. “They’re basically saying we don’t have the right to come and see a play in a tent.”

    Maybe because it's an ADULT oriented venue. A little kid wouldn't be interested in attending, and will cause a disruption if they don't want to be there. You can't tell me grandma and grandpa aren't available to babysit.

    Seems I just read about a child-free restaraunt somewhere here in Canada--There was even a poll and most agreed that sometimes it is good to have a child-free zone where adults could get away from kids.

    This broad obviously has no consideration for others. I feel bad for the child.I am in full support of child free zones. Adults want to have a chance to destress amd have fun with others, especially ones with kids.
