I just read this in last Friday's Independent. This is just a small matter in a bigger matter overall, but I think it's worthy of this forum, so I'll cut to the relevant section:

Life with a control order: a wife's story - Home News, UK - The Independent

Shocking how a woman is being encouraged to leave her husband just because the going is gets tough and when their husband needs them the most. Is this what they want women to do? To think only for their own well being? Imagine if you're a woman but instead it's your father being put through this ordeal, how outrageous would it be to say to distance yourself from your father "it'll be better for you!" how dare they?!- or do their categories of disposable men reach as far as including fathers too??
