David Cameron wages war on Deadbeat Dads who refuse to look for work

    From The Daily Mail:

David Cameron wages war on Deadbeat Dads who refuse
    to look for work

Deadbeat dads who spend all day at the pub instead of looking
for work will face a tough crackdown if David Cameron becomes
    Prime Minister.

Writing in today’s Mail on Sunday, the Tory leader says that
teenagers will also get compulsory lessons on how to say ‘no’
to sex and there will be measures to reduce violence against
    women.

The pledges – the latest phase of his campaign to mend ‘Broken
Britain’ – aim to tackle the ‘dark side’ of family breakdown, lawlessness, violence and classroom chaos.

Mr Cameron says the Tories will rip up laws they believe have encouraged feckless behaviour, including giving higher welfare handouts to couples who split up.

He promises that those who behave responsibly will be rewarded, while those who do not would receive lower benefits. Anyone who breaks the law will also face longer prison sentences.

Mr Cameron’s comments herald a series of announcements by the Tories this week on schools, law and order, and welfare.

He says the ‘darker side’ of Britain was exposed by the murder of Sukhwinder Singh, who was murdered in East London after chasing two muggers.

He writes: ‘Gordon Brown says we don’t live in a broken society. Sukhwinder may have suffered its most horrific expression, but there are many other victims too.’

They include ‘pensioners who live in fear behind bolted doors; teenagers who have a baby but no GCSEs; kids who are more likely to see their dad drunk than doing a day’s work; and the one in four women suffering domestic abuse at some point in their life’.

And he claims Labour has made things worse by ‘undermining personal and social responsibility’.

Mr Cameron’s tone is in stark contrast to the ‘hug a hoodie’ message he sent out when he first became Tory leader.

It comes after private Conservative polls found that although party members approve of his modern and compassionate style, they also want him to show the ruthless streak needed to get to grips with society’s deep-rooted problems.

Earlier this month, Mr Cameron admitted he had ‘messed up’ by giving mixed signals over his previous commitment to giving married couples a better deal from the tax system.

Today, he reiterates that couples who stay together will no longer get lower welfare payments than those who separate.

Single mothers with part-time jobs who take on extra work will also no longer see more of their pay grabbed by the State.

And headteachers will be given new powers to expel rowdy pupils and carry out searches for weapons and drugs.

Mr Cameron proposes a reform to schools’ national curriculum to include lessons about sexual consent – with an emphasis on ‘empowering’ young people to say ‘no’ to sex.

And he intends to import New York-style police techniques whereby officers make visits to homes where wives live in fear.

Home Office statistics show a case of domestic violence is reported to police every minute, while two women each week are killed by a current or former partner.

What a knob-end. This is the same guy who was confused as to how his bike was stolen, after he had chained it to a 3 foot bollard, he's a total spanner.

Funny how a father without a job is considered a deadbeat who spends all day down the pub (I personally don't know any father like that), and yet a mother without a job is considered a "full time mum", yes, funny that.

I went down to the shops today, I tripped over 8 women lying on the ground beaten to a pulp in the street, I could barely move without seeing a woman with a black eye or a broken limb, so he must be right about that 1 in 4 stat, although who is beating these women if their men are down the pub all day?

I don't know of any either ...... but i know plenty of single mums who as soon as they offload their brats at the state indoctrination camp for the day go straight home to their tax payer subsidised council house and sit on their fat arses watching loose women and other such shite, these people are the real problem and the politicians know it, trouble is they know that if they come out and say it its the end of their cushy career. Its telling that the only politicians who dare to speak the truth are retired ones.

Voting for the minor parties will simply split the vote. It may mean Labor wins yet again.

The Conservatives need to get a VERY strong message well before an election. They need to know that 'more of the same' mollycoddling the feminist destroyers and crucifying men is just not going to work.

Focusing on 'deadbeat dads' will backfire. Where is the praise of solid men? Where is the turning back of the tide that has swept decent men from their families and into the pub? Where is the 'real' equality to be seen when Affirmative Action for women on so many fronts hides real equality? Why squeal about single mums with no GCSEs while encouraging single motherhood? Where is the 'new' Englishman to come from when a third of the voters are in sinecures of local government make-work jobs, bought and paid for labour voters?

Meanwhile Tamzin Lightwater in central office worries about her frothy latte supplies and whether 'Dave' has a colourful tie that matches his bike hat, while 'Dave' tears up and replaces one job-lot of bad policies with an even worse lot.

Just a little curious, but how does the 'deadbeat dad' campaign square away with the plan to recruit 'deadbeat donors' for a national sperm bank populated by beery 'soccer hooligans'?

Thumbs down Re: David Cameron wages war on Deadbeat Dads who refuse to look for work

Cameron is welcome at my door any day, I will offer him a cup of tea sit him down and explain it to him in mono syllable terms
You can't expect a bloke to go to court spend Ł32,000 just to have modest contact with his own children establish a further family home just yards from the former one so as to be close by and accessible to his children who attend the schools that lay between the two homes. All this on a truck drivers wage, then when a perfectly sound contact order is reached allow that ex partner to unravel the entire thing on legal aid whilst the hard working dad has to pay through the nose, Ł200 per hour for a lawyer and Ł2000 per court visit, then wonder why the poor bastard has not only gone bankrupt but is diagnosed clinically depressed in the process he then learns in the same weekend that his former partners new partner can take possession of the former home at a pepper corn rate IE: I thought it was worth Ł200,000 he got it for Ł34,000 the same unknown guy has regular uncontested contact with my children with out spending 30 seconds in a Family Court room or spending one penny to attain it!
I have had my children withheld now since 19th September 2007 and just 'celebrated' my 3rd Christmas with out my sons!
In the same weekend as the letter informed me that they could take possession of my former home. My mortgage company started proceedings to repossess my existing home, thankfully my pension matured just in time to save this but for how long I have not worked for nearly a year and had I tried to a year ago I would never have attained enough to pay my over inflated mortgage, there may be hope now as this has now reduced considerably and now my ex who has not worked but claimed since 1996 and her partner who works and claims swans around in modern cars has holidays each year whilst trying to get me arrested for handing my son a Post office book and maturing bond (Ł2000 each) I was told not to harass my son ( Wish someone would harass me with Ł2000 as I travel on rare occasions in my 16 year old Honda) and they still expect me to pay CSA when they are a damn sight better off then I am!!

So no Mr Cameron I do not feel guilty after working hard for the past 35 years to claim what amounts to be Ł40 per week after several other deductions and which I have to exist on, this sometimes means going the odd days with out eating it has meant wearing layers of cloths and overcoat in doors this winter and often just getting to sign on, on the fumes in the petrol tank then being asked to wait outside as the queue is too long and is made up of Polish and Travellers who I bet will be immune from any chastisement from Cameron!!

In stead of worrying about deadbeat Dads why not consider the ones that are thrown away by the state and ruined for life?
