Cop Beats Up Kid At School On Camera, Reporter Faces 21 Years

Here's the scenario:
1) A high school boy "steals" his sisters purse as a prank.
2) The sister finds out but doesn't care as she knows she'll get it back. It's her brother!
3) Some school administrators find out and go ballistic.
4) The school "Safety" Officer gets involved, searches through the girl's purse without permission, arrests the boy, and slams the boy's head into table for swearing.
5) The boy's friend video tapes the whole thing. Some teachers try to get him to delete footage.
6) The boy who was beaten up by the cop is suspended for 11 days. The cop is not punished at all.
7) A www.copblock.org reporter looks into the case, records some of the conversations, is indicted for "wiretapping", and faces 21 years in prison.

Maddox wrote a page on this sort of shit a while back, one of the cases he cites is absolutely brutal, I'm sure you all remember the Kelly Thomas incident right?

Rotters would be a better description. This reminded me of the black guy in NYC who was shot 38 times by 5 police officers while standing in a doorway with his hands up, his wallet in his right hand which of course looked like a loaded MAC10 SMG to the police. And of course, no cops faced any charges.

Yes, the murder of Mr. Thomas was dispicable. I get irritated every time I hear people saythings such as "America is turning into a Police State." or "We need to keep the US from becoming a Police State." What are these people thinking? The USA is ALREADY a Police State and has been for a looong time.
