Just because they're having IVF doesn't mean they're not married. It could even be her first marriage. The older a woman gets, the harder it is to conceive. I'm surprised the article didn't even mention if they were married. I think it goes to show that society doesn't even consider marriage important enough to be a factor. That is just plain sad, and there is your indication of the breakdown of society.

I actually know some women who are in this position. I "help them out" as a kind and considerate gent would.. For the appropriate "consideration" of course..

I am known to be a kind and merciful chap when it comes to the fair sex..

Especially if they have legs that go all the way to heaven and bang like a shit house door in a hurricane..

There are some very well preserved and lady like "career ladies" in their 40's..

My mum had me at 42. My brother at 44. By the time I was a teen, she was in late middle age. By the time I left hight school, she was well on her way to being an arthrhiticky old woman.

I don't recommend it. Its not fair on the kids. Nor on the parent either, by these people deserve the consequences of their choices. Their kids and the rest of society don't.

Not all folked are fucked by 50.. or even 60.. or 70.. even.. and others can be crippled at 25.. Its all swings and roundabouts.. I think nature gets it pretty right and in balance on the whole.. What older parents lack in the swings they gain on the roundabouts.. For example, when I was young and foolish I regularly spent long periods in hospital away from home waiting for bones to heal etc.., so couldnt do much with my kids.. When I reached about 40 or so I was actually in fairly good mental and physical health for the first time in my life really.. I dont think mothers need to do much physical on the hole anyway, other than just the stress of hoisting babies around and the weight of a pair of 36h milkers..

I agree. Being a parent means being there for your Kid both physically and emotionally. While a older woman might be more mature and financially stable, the process of raising a kid tends to make one more mature. I know raising 2 sons made me "grow up" in a freaking hurry.
