All-male college cracks down on cross-dressing

    Story here. Excerpt:
'ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- An all-male college in Atlanta, Georgia, has banned the wearing of women's clothes, makeup, high heels and purses as part of a new crackdown on what the institution calls inappropriate attire.
No dress-wearing is part of a larger dress code launched this week that Morehouse College is calling its "Appropriate Attire Policy."
The policy also bans wearing hats in buildings, pajamas in public, do-rags, sagging pants, sunglasses in class and walking barefoot on campus.
However, it is the ban on cross-dressing that has brought national attention to the small historically African-American college.'

Gee, I wonder if any of the many woman's colleges in the US has a ban on their students dressing like men?

Re: All-male college cracks down on cross-dressing

Women are reknowned for wearing men's clothing, as comfort or fashion statement. No one dares to criticise.

Frankly I do not mind at all as long as it is tidy and stylish. It is the awful, sloppy, over-exposing attire styles that I do not like.

Now, a chap should be allowed to express himself with his clothing in any way he wants, so long as he does it tidily. I get quite annoyed when otherwise quite pleasant chaps wear armour splattered with blood. They should get their squires to wash it off and use some polish. And brush their plumes.

If a chap wants to wear a dress, I have no problem as long as he is nicely turned out. Depending on the fineness of the fabric he should wear a slip too. If there are no ladders in his tights - as is never the case with Superman and Batman who take great care of their leg fashions even when busily engaged in biffery - and his hem is not too high such that his knickers are on show (take note Superman, your should wear your knickers UNDER your tights) then all is well.

I should add that had Superman's capsule landed in Liecestershire or Rutland, he would have grown up with far better and more appropriate tailoring. Mind you, his cape should make a come-back anyday now.
