15 Years In Prison For Trying Twice To Kill Husband
Seems like a decent sentence to me...plus hopefully the guy got a fair divorce settlement without lotsa money going to her...I like how the Judge rejected a 10 year sentence as being "too lenient"
Yay for that Judge, name unknown...

Woman Tried To Hire Hit Man
POSTED: 6:11 am EST December 6, 2008
COVENTRY, Conn. -- A 28-year-old Coventry woman has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for trying twice to kill her husband.
Jennifer Ratti pleaded guilty in September to attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and inciting injury to a person. She was sentenced Friday in Rockville Superior Court.
A judge last month rejected a plea deal imposing 10 years, saying it was too lenient.
Prosecutors say Ratti put bug killer in her husband's food and antifreeze in his soda, and later tried to hire a hit man. He was hospitalized after ingesting the poisonous substances, but has recovered.
Jennifer Ratti has said she was upset because he wanted to end their marriage. Their divorce became final in late 2007, about six months after her arrest.Last edited by Marx; 8th-December-2008 at 03:21 AM. Reason: Corrected underlining and colouring(CD) / Removed clutter

Re: 15 Years In Prison For Trying Twice To Kill Husband
A common theme that resonates throughout the ages!Prosecutors say Ratti put bug killer in her husband's food and antifreeze in his soda, and later tried to hire a hit man.
Both poisoning and violence/murder by proxy is something women have 'successfully' engaged in for thousands of years.
Men historically poisoned their political enemies (usually with beguiling women, who's beauty inoculated them from suspicion), whilst women poisoned all and sundry that was deemed a hinderance or burden to them - the poisoning of politician, husband, official nor child never perturbed such a dark preoccupation with personal progression.
Even today police are somewhat reluctant to investigate the suspicious deaths of such men, until the evidence is literally plonked underneath their noses.
I just remembered this.
There's a true story about a Russian village who's menfolk went off to "fight for the motherland" in WW2. Certain influential women (feminists/man-haters were mentioned) resented the eventual trickling return of those men that survived the war, and thus concocted an idea to poison ALL the returning men, one by one. I recall the eventual poisoned death toll exceeding 500 men.
It shows how gullible and evil 'these' women were, that, all those women - mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, all colluded in this slow sickening slaughter of these returning heroes. They all went along with it. Can you imagine this happening with the genders reversed? Not a chance, such men might be lynched for suggesting that all the womenfolk be ritually poisoned. I'll try to dig up the link. There's also a book written about it.
For British members, the author of this book went on "Richard and Judy" a daytime chat show hosted by this nasty pop-feminist duo. Anyway, when discussing as to why these women did it, rather than focussing on the collective hate-ridden culpability of these evil women, Judy remarked something to the effect of "maybe the men didn't treat them right." Can you believe that sickening excusatory feminist BS. It's bad enough trying to lay that at the feet of one man (still not an excuse to be judge jury and executioner) but five hundred plus men?

'Rise like Lions after slumber In unvanquishable number - Shake your chains to earth like dew Which in sleep had fallen on you - Ye are many - they are few.'

Thomas Jefferson
The internet has been a lifeboat for men's opposition to the floodings of feminism.

You can rent a lover...in effect we rent wives until they go berserk and take all our money and kids?
If the dead husband worked his way through Family Court and made it through the divorce, most likely his exe-wife would not have been held responsible for anything. In fact...if he complained about it, it would tend to harden the Family Court people against him. It would actually be better for the man to say nothing at all about the murder attempts in some family courts.Ridgefield, Connecticut, USA, Earth, Milky Way, Universe, Creation

Re: 15 Years In Prison For Trying Twice To Kill Husband
Eighteen murders freed, their husband was to blame. And how do you conduct a hearing to ascertain the truth in the woman's claims that she was being abused and never did a thing wrong herself. I mean the guy is dead.
That is a big problem with the law crossing the threshold into our homes, family lives, and child rearing.
Hearings, real actual efforts to determine what happened are not taking place.
Those 18 females could basically just say "I was scared" after they noticed that this angle could work...guess what...now they say "I was scared" and "he abused me" while knowing that the dead guy cannot contradict them, call witnesses, show photos, letters and emails, etc, etc.
It's insanity.Last edited by Stan; 8th-December-2008 at 07:39 PM.

What really bakes my noodle in these cases is that women who *claim* to be abused can escape these situations. They have a million avenues to take.
For a man who wants to protect his children too - there are no escapes.
Yet men who suffer years of mental abuse, get proper hard time in jail. While women who *could escape* choose to murder instead, and still get leniency shown.

Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."
