    World of Warcraft - Maximum Graphics


    Here's how you can get the current maximum graphics in WoW. This goes beyond the graphics menu options. You need to make a new macro and put the following commands in a vertical row:

    /console farclip 777
    /console horizonfarclip 2112
    /console groundeffectdensity 256
    /console groundEffectDist 140
    /console smallcull 0
    /console skycloudlod 3
    /console detailDoodadAlpha 100
    /console characterAmbient

    Then click on the macro icon and it'll turn on automatically.

    WoW will look much better. Blizzard should add this to the menu graphics options and increase the caps. When you restart WoW turns off characterAmbient so you should press the macro again to turn it on.

    No problem mate. Blizzard said they're gonna add some graphics features with WotLK. Eventually they'll make a new WoW engine from the ground up.
