You can now get a 10 day free trial for the WoW expansion Burning Crusade. BC's main new area is Outland which can only be accessed by high level 58 characters. So if you play the BC trial you can start with a level 58 character and skip the necessity of leveling up from 1 to 58 which takes a (very) long time. After 10 days you can continue playing by getting a retail version and upgrading your account.

I played FFXI for about 3 years... Had a badass character on Valefor... 75 Monk with all the badass r/x gear... Destroyers, Dune Boots, Optical Hat... Badass MND gear for when I was on Chi Blast duty....

It's amazing how involved you can get in these games. I've suspended my account, and I'm not so sure I'll ever return to it. I just got to a point where I couldn't spare the time to play any more. MMOs are very hardcore games.

Since I suspended my FFXI account, I've started a few different trial accounts for EVE Online... a very, very cool MMO. I just can't spare the time to play.

I just wish I could pause time... maybe then I'd be able to spare the time to play a MMO again. As it is now, I can barely make the time to play some PS2. Video games are so awesome; I just wish I could make the time to play them. Oh woe is me...

You can start at level 58; WTF!?!?

It takes weeks/months of dedicated play to get to level 58. Will Blizzard allow people to keep their characters if they upgrade to a full account?

I have a love/hate relationship with warcraft. I love it because it's the most enjoyable and addictive game I've ever played. I hate it precisely because of that; it's so addictive and enjoyable that I can't stop playing it!

Thusfar I've been robbed of at least 80X24 hours of my life because of warcraft.

I was gonna sign up for the free WOW trial the other day but I dunno I just can't seem to get into mmorpgs. Is it anything like Ultima online? I played that for a few days and thought it was okay.

Try it and see what you think. I'd be very surprised if you didn't get hooked. The whole character-advancement thing is totally engrossing and addictive.

I have 1 high level character and 2 low levels that I am leveling so I will in the end have at least 3 different High level characters. It is things like that that make the game so fun.

And right now they are doing a promo where if a registered player brings in some friends and the end up getting their own accounts before the free trial expires the registered player gets some way cool stuff and some free playtime. So remember me if you decide to play.


Unless you live in Britian then you should find a friend there that plays I think.
