I'm excited about this game obviously. StarCraft (1) is one of the best real time strategy games ever made.  I wonder what the maximum amount of units and map size is.Here's a link to the official website. ~ A man needs a woman like a lion needs a stove. ~ ~ Women deserve only equal opportunity, not equal outcomes. ~ ~ Men are not collectively "guilty" of anything. ~ ~ Never needing to be pregnant is a blessing. ~ ~ Feminist ideology “men have to respect women, but women have no reason to respect men” ~ ~ Everybody makes choices, and nobody should be entitled to special treatment because of those choices. That does look impressive, I love the use of watermarked space background combined with the overlaying graphics on their site - makes for a very impressive effect.

Did you notice the Terran marines. They have big shields. In StarCraft 1 they didn't have shields. So they're wearing a heavily armored exosuit, a powerful gun and a shield in the other hand. The shield part does make sense. I've barely seen any highly advanced shields in futuristic warfare games or movies. See this screenshot. The cinematic trailer is awesome. A very muscular inmate gets ready for battle as a exosuit armor is automatically attached to his body by robotics. You can download a high quality version here. Check out this figurine of a Terran marine. It's very detailed, accurate, high quality, in other words kick ass. I'd like to have one but it's quite expensive. About 250 bucks. There are some more details about SC II: Art Article - The new map editor for the game will be called "Scumedit". - The graphics of the game will be based on DirectX 9, incase some of you worried... - Starcraft II's units will have multiple "move cycle" animations so they don't all move in unison with the exact same frames of animation. - Starcraft II will take place both in new worlds and in worlds that had appeared in the original game. Char is back. One of the new worlds is Belshir, a jungle, Protoss world. It also seems Braxis is coming back ("Braxis Alpha"). Gameplay Article - The story takes place 4 years after BW, so it's the same time period as Ghost. - No WC3 gameplay (creeps, heroes, emphasis on micro etc). - Units attacking from higher-ground don't get revealed now, unlike in SC1. - HIGH TEMPLARS and psi-storms are staying in! - "The UED terran forces were destroyed by Kerrigan's zerg armies (though a few surviving companies may still be around somewhere)". - The Terran faction in Starcraft II will primarily consist of the "evil empire" of the Terran Dominion. - The Xel'naga will fit into the story "In a rather epic tale". - No plans for naval combat (phew). ~ A man needs a woman like a lion needs a stove. ~ ~ Women deserve only equal opportunity, not equal outcomes. ~ ~ Men are not collectively "guilty" of anything. ~ ~ Never needing to be pregnant is a blessing. ~ ~ Feminist ideology “men have to respect women, but women have no reason to respect men” ~ ~ Everybody makes choices, and nobody should be entitled to special treatment because of those choices.
