As the title says which announced games are you looking forward to? Mine are: StarCraft 2, Street Fighter 4, Age of Conan, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto IV, Fallout 3, Super Smash Bros: Brawl. ~ A man needs a woman like a lion needs a stove. ~ ~ Women deserve only equal opportunity, not equal outcomes. ~ ~ Men are not collectively "guilty" of anything. ~ ~ Never needing to be pregnant is a blessing. ~ ~ Feminist ideology “men have to respect women, but women have no reason to respect men” ~ ~ Everybody makes choices, and nobody should be entitled to special treatment because of those choices. Equal results based on unequal treatment amounts to no kind of equality at all. ~ Last edited by Tyrael; 9th-March-2008 at 12:21 PM..

I'm amazed you have so much time on your hands... :-) I was looking forward to Turok for PC until I read the reviews. There's a prequel to Stalker called Clear Sky announced for August, that I definitely want to play. Then of course there's Rage. I may also have a look at Fallout 3, although I'm not familiar with the originals (but that may be an advantage).

Both my 5-year-old son and I are eagerly awaiting Starcraft 2.

And there was me thinking the thread title referred to the Olympics. For those games, I look forward to the Archery. This is recent in the Olympics even though an ancient art. The Chinese have an Archery history. But in the Olympics they stick to Target. This is a shame. The better, more exciting disciplines are ignored. Disciplines like Field, where shooting in forests between the trees, across ravines, through bushes is the norm and multi-range, shooting upward and downward, or from one level to another, obscured targets etc are used. Fitness and agility are needed. Or Clout, where the target is a long way distant, an extreme parabolic trajectory is needed and the arrow comes down on a flat-ground target. In France the Clout is ontop of a pole or spire and one shoots almost vertically. Or Archery-Golf with shoot-outs on a golf course where the same bow is used (like the one ball) but the arrows differ for different distances (like the different clubs) and the archer competes with a golfer. All are much more fun than the discipline of standard target shooting. Better than computer games too. Now, I must fly my virtual 747 to Athens. It is loading passengers in Istanbul as I speak. I have tried all my life to leave the place better than I found it. But there are 6 billion other buggers out there messing it up. I am outnumbered. But... YOU don't just make a difference, you make THE difference. ![]()

-Percy, how would you feel about Pankration finally getting a chance in the summer games? With a few rule changes from the ancient days, of course. As for videogames, the new ALIENS game coming out looks sick (good), but as of right now I'm playing thru the first 4 Command & Conquer games.

On a side note, when are we getting a new Mortal Kombat game that doesn't suck? I mean, I want a game that follows the original platform.

Fallout III and Final Fantasy XIII.
"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. As a Lucasfilm junkie I'm interested in The Force Unleashed and the next gen Indiana Jones game. Then there's Ghostbusters: The Game written by the original movie team which should be fun. I'm also keeping an interested eye on Age of Conan. As bola says its not easy to find time to play this stuff but oh well one joy of not having a woman in my life is when I do have time to relax, the games machine is there for me
