Maybe he just wants to avoid the possibility of slavery via child alimony. After all, to have sex with her or masturbate is the only reproductive decision he is allowed to make. The latter being the smarter, more self empowering option.

She found him doing something harmless (if strange) and gave him - already depressed - a depressing ultimatum. She's done the deed, damaged the man (who is already down) she swore to love for the rest of his life "in sickness and in health" and doesn't seem repentant.

So, get her to think about having to fix the car herself and address her own problems, all by herself. One of two outcomes: she either stands by her oath and starts loving and valuing her man despite his temporary joblessness and despite his new kink; or she goes ahead with driving him out of her life. That's the only two main options she has given herself, so she'll have to woman-up to her actions one way or the other.

Men and women who get to a point where they don't like something their spouse is doing and just think "divorce" for no other reason sicken me. They contibute to much of the problem with modern society.
