Do English speakers have problems with names like "Meredith Hesketh-Fortescue" or "Lord Molesworth-Houghton"

I have no problem with names like that, Feckless.

Viscount, the Honourable Percy Wingman hasn't encountered any problems either, and he is just my manly member.

But then you don't know my real name - which is double barreled, or my Titles and Ranks.

There can be problems though.

I recall an incident with a colleague quite a few years ago. He was a quite senior chap in the RAF. Late one evening an Army helicopter arrived at his base and a very haughty chap stepped out and went to the Mess. There was no-one in reception and he collared my colleague as he wandered through in his slippers with his newspaper and a glass of scotch in hand. The Army man demanded a room and 'told' the rather dishevelled (in a 'comfortable way) chap, to take his bags there. "I don't do bags, old chap", said the resident.

"Do you know who I am?" said the jumped-up fellow. " I am Lt. Col., the Honourable (name), Second in Command of the (X) Regiment".

My colleague replied, calmly, "And I am Group Captain, the Earl of (X) and the CO here. I outrank you on all three counts, now carry your own f*cking bags".

The problem is not the length but the pronouncication which is tricky for the German tongue.....you did not see the video right? Is there no DSL down there?
