    That is a cool advertisement!

Boy, I wish there were some way one of you nice guys could ship me a box of Cadbury Dairy Milk bars, and KitKat bars, all the way from the UK. (just kidding, though....!)

You don't know this, but American-made Cadbury and KitKat totally SUCK...the only good ones are the made in England or made in Canada ones. I don't know why this is, but fellow chocolate conoisseurs in the US fully agree with me. We eat Ghirardelli because we cannot get good Cadbury or KitKat.

If you can find a British import shop, see if they have Cadbury or KitKat *made in England* (or made in Canada). Before you eat it, smell it with the wrapper open. You will know the difference right away.

I have been known to haunt department store candy sections around Christmas and Easter, because those are the only times of the year in the USA when you can get the Cadbury made in England (usually in gift sets). Horribly overpriced when in gift sets, but worth the price!

Walmarts have a British food isle, or the ones by where I lived did... they stock all kinds of goodies.

As a side note, I might recommend trying 'lion bar', they are just super yummilicious.

Also, try some of the British marmalades - great on hot toast. mmmMMMmmm

Only issue I noted, is sometimes the packaging is a bit dodgy, and immensely overpriced.

Too many songs are happy luvvy and vacant,
feminism is a disease the Doc is working on a cure. Symptoms include compulsive liar, constant aggression, allergic to logic, often affects women who are fat with short hair and big earings, but can be normal looking.
Reason tablets three taken daily. If the sufferer displays shaming tactics double the dose. Remarkably the illness disappears in disaster zones.

Pardon me, speaking as a Cymro (Welshman), shouldn't that be made in Britain?! England is in Britain, not the other way 'round. And I didn't realise that Cadbury's chocolate was made anywhere other that in Bourneville as they have been since the beginning of time.

Technically, you're right, I'm just going by what it says on the wrapper of the UK-made Cadbury's that are occasionally available here in the USA.

The wrapper says, "made in England". (shrug!)

I have seen Cadbury made in Ireland (nasty tasting); made in the USA (by Hershey, under license from Cadbury UK), and Cadbury made in Canada.

    Re: Cadbury's ad.

Talking about Cadburys, it's just been announced that they are axeing 700 jobs in Brit and exporting those jobs to Poland. Brit already has a thriving Polish communty who have settled here and more are immigrating.

What kind of twisted logic is that.
