Maybe women's life expectancy is improving at a slower pace than men because of the fact that men's life expectancy is so far behind. I mean, men are still playing catch up. So maybe it is gradually evening out between men and women... yeah, women want equal gains because that would keep them ahead. Something tells me the same won't apply when it comes to pay rates.

I wonder what Hilary Clinton's take on relative male/female life expectancies would be; her being the woman who claimed that women were the 'real victims' of war, and all. Perhaps, along with obviously blaming men for not living as long (rather than a biased healthcare system), she believes that women are victims in this respect, too. Maybe, should the trend ever reverse, she will switch her opinions, if so (kind of like how feminists would become anti-abortion, were men to suddenly have the exclusive right to decide the fate of their unborn).
