WHO, World Health Organization = Women Health Organization
Well, I'm very concerned about posting this, but I sometimes feel puzzled on how feminism as infiltrated everywhere and women is an agenda everywhere.
I know that women are treated badly in many places, and in some cases like animals. I know also of some place where men are treated like slaves...
By the way, an International organization such WHO should have a scientific apporach, not and ideological one.
So exploring the WHO site looking for statistics regarding suicide rates, I' ve discovered that WHO consider as prioritatary the intervention in countries where women suicide rate is higher.....why, I wonder? Men suicide rate are higher everywhere....why priority on women? I know, I know, because women are mothers....of course....
So looking furhter in the website I've noticed that there are international programs for women health...no men health...naturally..
Then I decided to have a look at the reports; 3 were gender agnostic, one for women...let's have a look
Women and health: today's evidence tomorrow's agenda
http://whqlibdoc.who.int/publication...563857_eng.pdf
Few typical statements, the get mood of this "scientific" and rigorous report
"Although women are the main users of health care, insufficient attention is given to their needs and perspectives throughout the life course, and to the constraints that they face in protecting their health or in accessing or making the most of available services. Key concerns for women seeking health care include respect, trust, privacy and confidentiality - values that are often compromised in busy facilities, particularly among certain age groups and social groups"
"Further, health-care providers need to take firm action and speak out against practices that violate the rights and harm the health of women and girls – as with intimate partner violence, sexual violence, female genital mutilation, early marriage and other harmful practices"
"Universal coverage carries particular significance for women. They face higher health costs than men due to their greater use of health care,....Approaches to extending coverage of health care must deal with the content of benefit packages, ensuring that they include a greater range of services for girls and women of all ages."
"The health sector also has an important role to play in drawing attention to the ways in which policy in other sectors can affect the health of women, and in encouraging intersectoral collaboration to enhance positive health outcomes for women while minimizing adverse effects. (i.e. they are implying, if we are to be positive on health on women, men may realize the cheating game and get a bit upset when they do not get the cure..)"
basically the summary of the report is:
- women live longer than men, even in the third world
- there is no proven casual effect between gender equalities and women health disease (they tried to allude to the fact that doctors are males in 70% of cases...)
- then we have focus health and resources on women, to promote women in position of power (stance well backed by Sweden government, whose femism is well known) and entitle them to something men shouldn't, men have to die!Last edited by Fabrizio Napoleoni; 13th-May-2012 at 12:46 AM.

Re: WHO, World Health Organization = Women Health Organization
Indeed, a quick search on "men's health" yields 1,370 (One Thousand, Three Hundred & Seventy) results, many of which contain "health" followed by references to "men's and women". However, and unsurprisingly, a quick check for "women's health" offers a whopping 20,900 (Twenty Thousand and Nine Hundred) results. This results in just under 16 (Sixteen) times more information on women's health compared to men's.
And this is the group that pretends to be about Human Rights? No, apparently not.. It seems quite confidently to be the Women's Health Organisation, not the World Health Organisation. If it shows any interest in men's well-being, it is minimal. Especially when you consider how they turn a blind eye to male rape and turn-away male victims of Earthquakes in desperate need of food so it can prioritize women.
Keep in mind also, they have an entire section setup for women's health, you can find it here: WHO | Women's health
Predictably, WHO doesn't have a page for men. You can try, but you'll see "page not available" error-code being displayed instead: http://www.who.int/topics/mens_health/en/►My blog / Your Blog

Wife : "I dreamt they were auctioning off dicks. The big ones went for ten dollars and the thick ones went for twenty dollars."
Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."
