I can give you some points for effort in that you provide a mathemetical reasoning based on international statistics differentials, but these, too, rely upon cases that have resulted in convictions ( which include an equally unknown proportion of incorrect convictions), rather than reports or the ubiquitous guesses as to the ridiculously claimed 'true' rates, and demonstrate the 94% as limited to one country only. This is an International board.

The 98% figure was not a wild guess. It was based on someone's mathematical analysis of international statistics. The number was not simply made up.

Given the subjective nature of what actually constitutes rape and the imperfect nature of legal systems, mathematical & logical conjecture is the best, if not only, option for general informational purposes, i.e. showing that the likelihood that a rape allegation is false is outrageously high. The point is that men accused of rape should be treated with more discretion and due process and accusers should not be automatically believed. Women, in fact, should not be encouraged to make rape allegations since it is highly likely that most who do so have ulterior motives. For a generation women have been encouraged to use rape allegations as a manipulative vengeance mechanism and escape clause. Rape should be treated as any other crime and the alleged victims should not be granted immediate support and sympathy. Doing so has led to our having a generation of victimized men.

Determining a percentage of false rape allegations is not as clearcut as determining a batting average. As you indicate, there are factors such as correct and incorrect accusations, acquittals, and convictions. But we have to start somewhere.

As I indicated, one logical analysis came up with a figure of 80%. Another came up with 98% for America. (Of course this is an international board, but that does not preclude the use of case studies for individual countries.) The US Air Force study reported below came up with a figure of 60%.

They linked to a reliable source where I can find some of the numbers. But I must admit in that I don´t find the 11 per 100k number there. But I know there are 8118 rapes and arround 82 Million people here. Using my math skills (which aren´t really that good) I got 9,9 but that could probably wrong. Besides that number is near those numbers of the other countries if Akuus source is reliable.
