Penises optional for men, says High Court | The Australian
AUSTRALIAN men don't have to have a penis, the High Court says.
The court says two transgender people can be legally recognized as men even though they still have some female sex organs.
"The physical characteristics by which a person is identified as male or female are confined to external physical characteristics that are socially recognisable," the court ruled today.
"Social recognition of a person's gender does not require knowledge of a person's remnant sexual organs."
The ruling followed an appeal from an unnamed transgender pair, who had their breasts removed and are having testosterone therapy, which renders them infertile, but retain some female sexual organs.
You'll find the rest on the link.
Greed is for amateurs.
Knowledge without wisdom is a load of books on the back of an ass.
Scorn and mockery towards men in need is one of the reasons feminism is dying as we speak!.

Re: Penises optional for men, says High Court
This is a bit stupid, rather the trans in court would rather quality as asexual or "non-gender" as their female parts are non functional and yet they are definetley not male.
So by the same logic if a man puts ona wig and false tits, he qualifies as a woman? The greatest enemy of the truth is very often not the deliberate lie - but the persistent, persuasive and unrealistic myth that the lie creates

Welcome them aboard !!

They are proof that many women are completely nuts. They don't need nuts to try to have almost everything a man has.
I jest, of course.
I have some sympathy for people who have such mental anguish at sensing that they are in the wrong body. It is a form of self-mutilation, a shade more severe than having a thing for tattoos.
These two will be chaps with an extra pocket and no fear of catching their knobs in their zips.!!
The world is nuts enough to spare a few nuts for them.

@Richard
That is the intent of transgender community-- that despite biological traits, and indeed, the very fundamental difference starting at the chromosomal level, that persons be recognized as the gender that they identify as.
For example, it is considered rude to refer to male transsexuals (wig & false tits) by anything but their preferred female pronoun.
Transgender issues are complicated, provocative and confusing exactly because they break across natural gender barriers, expectations, legal issues, etc. in BOTH directions.

In Australia, if a man disguises himself as a woman, is he eligible for preferential treatment under affirmative action? Is he (she?) exempt from the draft, and able to sit by minors on Quantas?
