The whole budget process in this country is held hostage by a small group of women's rights people holding the female voting block over the heads of elected officials. In my lifetime, I cannot think of a single budget crisis when N.O.W did not rise up and cry foul and say that women were somehow getting the short end of the stick. Where is there any discretionary spending for men? It doesn't exist.

The whole abortion funding issue makes me want to puke. I support reproductive rights for women, however, I detest the idea that MY MONEY is going to someone who is exercising a right that I DO NOT HAVE!

I hear you on that, one of these days the western goverments are going to be so corupt and so broke because of their pandering to women only that most men and boys will say to hell with them and stop suporting the system and then women will realized that the well has been poisoned and there is nothing they can do to fix it becuase they have pissed men and boys off for so long that most men and boys will tell women to go and fuck themselves when the crunch comes down the line

Exit polling from the 2008 election showed 56 percent of female voters cast ballots for Obama. Only 49 percent of male voters backed Obama.

The problem in America is a lot less than I had imagined. Piece of cake to have that sorted by next elections.

If it's one thing that my faith has taught me is that "Evil men and women are sloppy and not that hard to figure out!"It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand how corrupt specimens work! It just takes common sense and a firm understanding of right and wrong.
In a way, I pity those fools who will be enslaved and beaten down by the same government they claim, has liberated women!

I'm still perplexed as to what women's rights NOW is advocating for exactly? Can anybody furnish me with an adequate U.S. example which doesn't involve importing the inequalities of third-world women? Wouldn't 'women's-privileges advocates' be a more honest description?

"It would, for example, decimate funding for many battered women's shelters at a time when the recession is causing a spike in domestic violence rates," O'Neill said. "At the least, our swollen military budget should receive as much cost-conscious scrutiny as services for vulnerable women."

Note how O'Neil even begrudges an increase in expenditure which preserves her very freedoms? This is the insular and short-sighted mentality of the feminist bigot.

Also, can she substantiate this supposed spike in domestic violence rates (for example, in the UK the spike in DV rates is due to an increase in female violence)? Probably not. But we can see in the below quote the benefits of claiming it nevertheless.

The budget also will propose spending $535 million in aid for victims of domestic violence - $117 million more than current funding, a 22 percent increase.

Obama's incessant serenading of NOW is not only cringeworthy, but it also shows his presidential weakness thru his succumbing to feminist ransom via voting bloc leverage.

It is most unlikely that any of that extra 22% for 'violence' will go to establishing men's shelters.
