    Misandry in ad campaign

Im going crazy from this ad campaign that is plaguing the TV, Radio, and Internet on drinking and driving. They all feature a man/guy (never a girl) who is telling us how stupid he is for drinking. This campaign is clearly geared at young men but instead of showing the benefits of non alcoholism they put down men and end the ad by saying that the "drink and drive, get pulled over. Cops are watching".

While the message is good that you shouldn't drink and drive many guys I know are too pissed by their portrayal of men to listen to the message.

Anybody else seen this ad campaign?

I cant find the worst ones on the web like the radio ads but here are the few I could find...

Fairly typical misandry in the media.

The most offensive thing you can do to a feminist is treat her with FULL equality.
Wife : "I dreamt they were auctioning off dicks. The big ones went for ten dollars and the thick ones went for twenty dollars."
Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

'Pissed' means 'drunk', here, so that reads in a humorous way........but, yeah, always the way.

    Re: Misandry in ad campaign

I had sent an e-mail to Glenn Sacks about a year ago concerning a drunk-driving ad campaign which showed a man laughing and having a good time behind the wheel. Then when he sees the police in his rearview mirror, he begins to sob like crazy. The voiceover says, "Drunk driving (I think) turns men into boys".

So while we focus on men's problems with drinking and driving, some drunk women are demanding the right to go topless (sheesh).

Not trying to hijack the thread, but letting off a tiny bit of steam..................

They are at it again... National Click It Or Ticket Enforcement | May 21 - June 3, 2012
While annoyed at the whole site, this line totally ticked me off "It's not as essential for guys to wear seatbelts; they're much better drivers"... I understand the demographic, but the sterotype that they support is driving me nuts...
