Women live longer than men, earn less and take more breaks from the workplace to care for children and elderly parents, which all add up to scary financial penalties.
Totaling an extra $849,000 over a lifetime, purely for being born a woman, AOL put these monetary disadvantages in black and white dollar terms.
The average total is made up of life expectancy and higher insurance costs, the price of taking time off work, lower wages and the general added hardship of female finances.
The dishonesty is nauseating.Greed is for amateurs.

Scorn and mockery towards men in need is one of the reasons feminism is dying as we speak!.

My BS meter is going off again. Since when have women paid more for insurance?

So who has to make up that $849,000 shortfall, since it clearly cannot be the woman herself?
The article is a typical mishmash of contradictory data and assumptions, the only consistent thread being the familiar whine that women are being victimised because of their sex. Utter hogwash. Even their greater life expectancy is twisted into evidence for their being discriminated against. The reality is that women are an expensive liability, whose chosen lifestyles create huge and disproportionate financial penalties - not on themselves, because there are hardly any women anywhere who are financially self-sufficient over their lifetimes - but on the people who earn far more than they ever get to spend on themselves. The people whose burdens are not mentioned in the article and are routinely ignored in the welter of false self-pity among the female chattering classes.Civilisation: man's greatest, and most unappreciated, gift to women
