Thread: How much do you blame feminism

Sure, issues existed prior to the rise of feminism... but what other group has claimed to be about equality, only to demonize their 'opposition', which is an entire sex, and then gone on to promote inequality at every opportunity?

none, and no other group made anti-policies intentionally being anti-male but chivalry certainly didnt help...thats why i asked, im curious how much people put on feminism i say its about 60% because the respect and chivalry and honoring women helped get feminism off the ground

Feminism is a rather broad term and a movement that had some reasonable motives. Some people who still identify as feminists are ultimately still quite decent people.

I'd place very little blame on equity type feminists but a vast amount on the gender feminists.

I have kicked others to the curb like this before on other forums I moderate. Maybe it's about time here. This is a waste of time and effort..

I voted 41-60%. Feminism is more of a symptom than a cause. The cause is the failure of men to cooperate. It was men who were stupid enough to give women the vote. And it is men today who are failing to take any real action against feminism.

Right, but as you'll remember, your mod access is limited to your sub-forum (the copy of your blog)... and not to be funny, but you have minimal involvement here these days, this has to be one of the first posts I've seen from you in a very, very long time. If there was a bit more activity, aside from the RSS feeds I mean, perhaps there'd be a bit more responsibility handed down.

While I share CJ's frustration at the timewastery element of so much in the movements forums I don't see the point in banning folk willy-nilly just because they have slightly different views or different levels of knowledge..

The feedback loop works thus.. Men split, women unite, gain power over men, men split ...

Not sure how it will ever fix itself, but it may be that women end up fixing men for womens own good!

The dangers of that are starkly apparent..
