When I worked for PCW, we had two cleaners and the female (wife of the two 'man' company) said many times that the women's toilets (at PCW and other companies the two worked for) were considerably worse than the men's with occasional exception.

In my home, my toilet is cleaned regularly and the basin remains white... I once used an ex's toilet while picking up our kids.

I was mortified by the state of it. It looked like a damn speckled egg on the inside.. it was disgusting beyond belief.

Well Marx, I just had a convo with my dear old mum and was quite amazed at her re-action to the ad. She stated that women on the whole where filthier than men in the toilets/bathrooms. My mother was a general cleaner and a nurse for many years and said that the vast majority of men where apologetic for faux pa's in the toilet, whereas women just didn't care.

Typical friggin' swipe at an 'easy' target.

Bloody idle, lazy, stupid ad persons sitting around a table dreaming up 'creative' ways to sell a product but without a skerrick of creativity anywhere in sight.

We are getting some really creative types in the MRM so I look forward to a YouTube response showing women apologising for their toilet habits and shoving it to Harpic.

I see this a lot where I work. I've seen people put tampons in the toilets, and several people don't even bother to wipe the seats (that's NOT my job)

Women who buy Harpic should now be synonymous with those whose husbands and sons miss the bowl and shit elephant turds. The slogan for their competitor should be:-

Hey Ladies, the other "well known brand" is for women whose husbands and sons miss the bowl and drop turds that stink. Our brand is for the refined and cultured household. Your toilet cleaner says more about you and your family than a thousand words. Buy "Whizzo" toilet cleaner and show the World you are not disgusting trash.

I'd have an Ad campaign for my "Whizzo" cleaner that had an Ad along the lines of:- A woman at a house party returns from the washroom after seeing Harpic and looks at the hostess' husband with utter disgust. She then pushes her plate of food to one side. Thinking of other Ads doesn't take much effort.

I live in a house full of women, (a situation I generally enjoy), but they can destroy a bathroom. In addition to the cryptozoic floaters that don't flush there are make up stains in the sink, and bottles of stuff and clothing I don't understand everywhere. And hair, oh God don't talk to me about hair. I have my own bathroom in the basement with the toilet seat up save for special occasions. Mind you I will admit that when my son was at home he could put a rhinoceros to shame with his bathroom visits.

Basically if people don't complain they will continue making this crap.

Ever noticed germs and anything else that needs to be obliterated by cleaning products is always depicted in male form within ads?
