Oh, how I wish pre-nuptial agreements were legal in the United Kingdom. I'd probably still have a 4-bedroomed inner-city house completely paid for, I might well have at least two of the successful businesses I used to run, I probably would have retained all of my pensions that I'd put money into for 20 years before even getting married.

In some ways, I think the law should have protected my interests and cared about fairness but failing that, a prenuptial agreement might have worked, too.

I am partly glad that this woman was spat upon. It shows her clearly just what nasty creatures feminists are.

But as for her desire to be a 'stay at home' wife and be supported by a husband/provide/protector/slave/shield/gofer/wallet etc, well I am afraid she hasn't just missed the boat but if she looks carefully she will see that the feminists have put a hole below the waterline. The men don't want to be in that leaky boat anymore.

What has happened to you, and numerous other men, and some women, has not come about by chance or coincidence, the illuminati, the ruling elite, are purposely destroying this society from within.


They have a saying, “Order out of chaos” they create the chaos, a war, recession, feminism, terrorism, the lie of man made global warming, etc and they use these things to further their own political goals.


I am a modern day “Peasant” with, no say whatsoever, in what happens in my country.

That response Ann Landers gave was about as lame as they come. I can count on one hand the number of single moms who didnt choose to be so. And get some education first? And what, waste your money on something you dont want to do anyway? This is AMERICA lady, if she stays home and all that while her husband goes on to get his education and then a career and then leaves her....... she's not gonna go without. It only takes one brain to figure that out. (i dont think i know of anyone who that has actually happened to...... maybe one.)

WHAT? Like if you can't hold 3 full time jobs at once you are somehow deficient. And, name me one, just ONE woman who manages all that "successfully". But dont ask her, ask her children and her husband how succesful the whole endeaver is.

The feminists are so missing the boat. Not that I've been married that long, and am by no means an expert....... but his success is my success. We share the success and the failure and I love being the one whos got his back. I know he has mine. Thats the way it works and there's more freedom in that than I could ever have if I worked full time elsewhere. With all my time diverted away from him rather than channeled toward him. I know he's grateful for it and it shows.

Well anyway, crappy situation and an even crappier response.

Douglas before you get all misty-eyed about us men across the pond being safe from "divorce court ass rape", you should know that pre-nups over here often aren't worth the paper they are printed on.

A buddy who used to work with me joked before his marriage about never getting married to his then girlfriend without one.

And that's what he did. Went out to a good lawyer had the papers drawn up, and him and his fiance both happily signed them knowing they'd never need to be used as they were gonna be together forever.

Fast forward to about five years later, he's now a co-owner of a very successful business and his wife is no longer in love with him.

She went to court and easily had the pre-nup thrown out, he lost; his house (which he owned outright before they ever met), half of his shares in the company he started (And she not only had no hand in helping him build, but actively discouraged him from doing at every chance), $2000 a month in alimony (which he has to pay until she gets married or fifteen years which ever comes first), and the kicker?

The man she left him for was the attorney they'd had draft the legal papers in the first place.

(Who may I add was a 58 year old fat guy who's been married more times than Liz Taylor.)

I found all this out the last time I saw him, and my buddy looked like he'd aged 20 years since the wedding, only six or so years ago.
