A bizarre row has broken out among EU politicians over whether climate change is a feminist issue.
Members of the European Parliament will vote today on a report by a French Green party MEP who claims global warming ‘is not gender neutral’.
Women, claims Nicole Kiil-Nielsen, ‘consume more sustainably than men and show greater willingness to act to preserve the environment’ as they tend to organise household consumption and childcare.
She said that discrimination against women could be made worse in the developing world if climate policies do not take gender discrimination into account.
There was a time when I would have been shocked & angered by this.
These days it's just par for the course.

Well my STBEW leaves a smaller foot print. The kids go to school where she can use the bus. I have to drive them. She bails on taking kids to activities, so I have to drive them. She uses my money to pay for most kids things, so it is assigned to me. Like everything else women will make the argument that they are somehow the better of the sexes. It just isn't the case. If they have to keep telling us so, it obviously isn't the case.

Common sense tells us what she's saying is hogwash. When we reach a higher consciousness beyond the limitations of the mortal realm and into the immortal this will cease to be a memory. The physical body is probably a prison anyway, this entire world is a prison and limits us. It limits our perception of ourselves and encourages us to place more limitations upon us. We are not limited by her abstract views of humanity unless we accept it.
When I do this, and I know I will, it will be comparable to the lame learning to walk, the blind being enabled to see and the suffocated breathing again. The sky isn't the limit; there are no limits.

If the sun is meaner to women, then why do a lot of them want to spend so much time in it? Hmmmmm?
Contrary to what some feminists say, male violence is not "acceptable", "sanctioned" or "institutionalized" behavior. The fact that it is even considered criminal is proof of that.
