I can understand the pessimism, it's a hard road to travel indeed.

I lean towards an optimistic perspective, always. But given the massive obstacles men universally face, when I look back a year, 5 years, 10 years etc. I see progression being made over a relative scale which is encouraging, and it's accelerating the more we keep positively inputting and being collectively determined in our goals.

As the old adage goes 'quitting is not an option.' We either bravely press forward and secure new battle honours or be forever overwhelmed.

One thing that I have began to notice is that many men when prompted are aware of misandry, double standards etc. but simply do not speak up. I was actually shocked when I asked a man who I have known for a long time and he told me that he was aware that 'men get a raw deal', 'women aren't held accountable for their actions' etc.

these men play the game in order to make their lives easier. some fear the consequences if they speak out in public.

I actually have great confidence in average folk when carefully imparted words are conveyed to them as to the reality, that they will act ethically in their collective determinations.

There is truth to this... Every dollar spent on alternative energy, is a woman turned down at an overcrowded domestic violence shelter. This transfer of funds hurts women as the majority need help and a refuge from their husbands/brothers/fathers (insert male here)...
