Cause for celebration: Harman Ruled out as successor to Brown
Labour deputy leader Harriet Harman has firmly ruled herself out as a possible successor to Gordon Brown.

LOL - I love the dozy picture. Perfectly
representative of her general mentality.
"I have ruled it out," she told the BBC's The Andrew Marr Show. "I am very happy to have been deputy leader to serve as Gordon Brown's deputy and that's it."
Her comments came amid reports that Mr Brown will fight to retain his leadership, even if Labour loses the general election.
The Sunday Times reported that Mr Brown has told close colleagues that he intends to carry on unless the Conservatives win a significant majority.
Ms Harman, however, refused to speculate on the possibility of Labour defeat, saying that she was working to secure the return of Mr Brown as Prime Minister.
"It will be the first election that he has fought and won and of course he will carrying on being Prime Minister," she said.►My blog / Your Blog

Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

I think even she realizes the futility of succeeding Gordo, due in no small part to her obsessional feminist crusade that has had even her own fellow MPs questioning her sanity.
The irony is, that she sabotaged herself in the end, but I'd like to believe the men's movement delivered a few good body shots which contributed to her throwing in the towel.
That said, expect her to continue with her man-hating bender until she's dragged from office when the Tories vanquish these marxist turds.
Also, even if she quits politics tommorrow, she MUST be held accountable for her crimes against men.Last edited by Celtic Druid; 31st-January-2010 at 07:36 PM.

Amen to that CD, maybe it's just for show that she has thrown in the towel, I bet she's just going to sit idaly by and bid her time and then run for office and then really put the screws to the men and boys.
I agree she should have to answer for not only her crimes agasint men and boys but her crimes against humanity and nature, namely being hung from good old Big Ben as a warning that such evil bitches will not be tolratedWhen the femanazis tell me it's their way or the highway I tell them to fuck off and die, because at lest the highway leads to new and intresting places, their ways is a dead end.

This woman is an sick, hateful, sexist and a deceitful liar. No one should believe a single word she says, especially this.
She's clearly very power hungry, as is her husband for that matter. The Rights of Man - A platform for raising issues about sexual discrimination against men in the UK:

Quite right John Kimble. Why would anyone believe a word she says?
The whole gang is lousy with lies. She is sitting waiting for them all to implode so that she has a clear run.
Just listen to Guido:
Labour Will Have a Khrushchev Moment of Truth in the End
http://order-order.com/
Rawnsley’s new revelations in The End of the Party, like Peter Watt’s in Inside Out, come as no great surprise. Guido has been pretty remorseless over the years in his characterisation of Gordon Brown as the “Prime Mentalist”. As we come closer to the dénouement of this government more and more will come out confirming the truth of this characterisation. The increasingly manifest weirdness of the man means that his acolytes are now reduced to excusing him as a “poor communicator”.
Poor communication skills do not explain the widely reported acts of violent rage, poor communication skills do not explain the bizarre behaviour, the appalling mistreatment of junior staff or the violent Nokia chucking abuse towards aides.
The demented dithering of Downing Street’s dysfunctional operation is now well known throughout Westminster and openly recognised in Whitehall. The decision making processes that determine the strategic direction of the country have almost broken down. This stems in large part from the personality of Gordon Brown.
When Brown has gone after the election it seems inevitable that we will eventually have a Khrushchev moment, where a senior Labour figure articulates what everyone knows. It will be devastating. Gordon Brown is a malevolent, deeply damaged and unpleasant human being. He is at the centre of a culture of political bullying that has been unhealthy for the Labour Party and the government.
The loyalist cabal around him are unpleasant people who have no place in a healthy political culture, they are as secretive and malicious as they are vindictive and vicious.
Damian McBride was his anonymous assassin, destroying the careers of Brown’s enemies. Nick Brown, Gordon’s tough enforcer is now the party’s chief whip. The charmless Ed Balls plotting on his master’s behalf owes his position entirely to his loyalty to Brown. Charlie Whelan is another Brown bully with a bit more charm and humour. Nick Cohen recalls Charlie Whelan lambasting Martin Bright’s wife, telling the mother of his children that the then political editor of the Staggers should be sacked for disloyalty to Brown.
Whelan is now suing the editor of the Speccie for calling him a bully, probably because he couldn’t bully anyone into sacking him. Those around Brown are unpleasant people of necessity, because leaders like him who can’t inspire only hold on to power through fear.
Many people in the Labour Party who know all this stay silent, they despair or they have given up. It would have been better for them all to have had a coup before the election rather than a Khrushchev moment after. Look at the evasiveness and the body language of the people who deny the truth of the allegations about the Prime Mentalist. Truth will out in the end.

usually when the socialists lose an election they leave a smoking ruin as their legacy - and the UK is quite a ruin in terms of the status of men! I say do men have any status anymore

Re: Cause for celebration: Harman Ruled out as successor to Brown
Hateman doesn't need to be the leader. As long as the titular leader is weak and allows her to do what she wants, she will have all the power necessary to continue her programme. Plus a convenient scapegoat to take the blame for the damage she creates.
Also she will avoid the big problem of leadership - the need to spread yourself thinly over a wide range of policies. Hateman is a one-issue politician, hell-bent on promoting feminism into every aspect of our lives. She knows nothing of economics, foreign policy, or a host of other aspects of government; and she doesn't want to know about them, except in so far as they can be utilised to serve the Primary Objective.
So staying out of the hot seat is often the smart move in politics. Think Mandelson - another slimeball who exercises real power from behind the throne. If Brown goes, they will still be there, pulling the strings.

Re: Cause for celebration: Harman Ruled out as successor to Brown
What I want to know is where were all the campaigners outside the BBC , complaining about the BBC giving a platform to those who hate ? There were plenty of them when Nick Griffin turned up for "Question time " , yet all he does is speak the truth , and stands up for us . Harman ? She is just an evil ,man-hating feminist , who preaches nothing but hate .
I don't believe what she says, I reckon she wants the leadership

Re: Cause for celebration: Harman Ruled out as successor to Brown
It's feasible loopy Harman could be pulling a tactical ploy, but as Paul Parmenter noted, she'd actually be more effectual with her agenda exactly where she is now.
