There are and have been quite a few women who have come here and contributed, and some have stayed. Several have had very shakey starts.

There are a few men here who positively encourage women contributing (me amongst them) and some men who are set against even the best of women who recognise truth. We are a mixed bag here.

I, personally, take a reserved view, with a bit of scepticism, until a woman has proven herself here. But I do that with the men too.

On a forum like this and many others, we have words on a screen. We can assume a lot about the person but it is best not to until they have revealed a lot about their personality through multiple posts.

Intelligent women are as infrequent as intelligent men. Just ordinary does fine for me but I do value intelligence higher.

It takes more though. Wide experience helps. As does tenacity, especially in the face of prejudiced and bigoted opposition. And a keen mind that seeks evidence.

What women can offer here, apart from support for us chaps, is a feminine element. A woman 'speaks' in a different way. She is often more 'personal'. It is noticable here. She can ask questions that would not be so easily tolerated from a man. She can present a 'woman's' perspective and where it differs from a man's it can help expand our viewpoints.

Speaking for myself, I have many fine men as friends here. There are men here who I admire and respect. I also find that the women who stay here and persist are really likeable women.

You specifically talk of the women here.

I like KellyMac. She is direct and fierce and honest. Not a 'frilly' girl. She is far brighter and deeper than she lets on. She plays her cards close to her chest.

I like Tera. She is an empathetic woman with an enquiring mind and an urge to share her views, and she calls upon many here to justify with logic and evidence - it annoys some people, but frankly it makes us all think and argue better. She is tenacious and has 'staying power', a rarity in modern women. An adventurous woman.

I like Kim. No, more. In quieter moments I could easily love Kim. She is almost an 'Ideal' of a caring, wise, loving woman who puts herself 'out there' with Integrity and Authenticity. She is probably the most mature person here. She would certainly be a 'best friend' if she lived in my street. But I doubt we would go to Church together. I bet she is damned sexy too in private!!!!

And then there is newcomer Louise, RV, a fast-paced, highly intelligent young woman, full of anger along with self-doubt disguised as certainty, and an astonishing level of energy and 'verve'. She is to me a 'daughter' of the world. Just the sort of woman the MRM needs.

Jools is the hippy, noisy, arguementative farm-girl next-door who is infuriating at times but fun to play with in a haystack. She is subject to strange hormones and can make butter. I am pretty sute she could find some fun uses for it too.

I take a quite personal view of many here. Most of the men here are my brothers. I would happily do anything for some chaps here. Others are mates, pals or anoying, noisy younger brothers. Some would be best mates. I would like several as my sons, but I doubt most would want me as a dad!

The women mentioned above are all part of my alter-family. Daughters, sisters, (big and little) and in Kim's case, ........

Now, allecta, I hope you play nicely here too and contribute with an open mind, adding to the voices that examine Truth and Reasonableness. Who knows where you might fit in.
