Oh, puhleez, I have been reading messages on this list, which my male friend subscribed to and which he often asks me to read with him, and I have never contributed my voice to this melee. I am doing it now.

Some man here said words to the effect that women control verything. Bullcrap. The ENTIRE society is run by men, many of whom have no morals, no values, no ethics, no character, no integrity, and in short, all of that can be summed up as: NO HONOR.

I am referring to the fact that, other than the decision whether to go out on a date with a man or not, the woman controls NOTHING. Actually, if she is a lady and not a tramp who throws herself at men and asks men out on dates and pays on the dates, the woman doesn't control that either. It's not even a matter of control; it's a matter of SHARING the power. Let me illustrate by example.

Most men nowadays do not want to be with just one woman; they flirt and screw around with anything that moves. They cheat and they lie and they lie about not cheateing. They can't abide by a simple agreement whereby both people agreed to be monogamous. Of course, the man always says "I'm not like that." Of course, he IS.

True, to a great extent, women created their own problems in relationships with men, which is the most important area of life for a normal, emotionally healthy female. Women screwed themselves up through the so-called Women's Lib Movement because they were told to go off and have meaningless sex, just like men do, and that would make them a man's equal in that arena. The contraceptive pill was a great ally to the Women's Movement; it promised sex with no pregnancy or life-altering consequences. Result: women by the droves screwed themselves silly -- literally and figuratively speaking.

What the morons of the Women's Lib Movement (Bett Friedan, Gloria Steinem, et al) didn't realize is that by giving up the cherry for free, meaning with no corroboration and proven exclusivity and monogamy, and by making themselves available to one and all men, and by running after men, they would HUGELY diminish their value as females. They thought they were liberating themselves from men...surprise! They became more enslaved. Men control more than they controlled before. They have it all - well, almost all, without the requirement to be exclusive and monogamous and thus, respect the woman's sense of worth and her sense of dignity.

Due to the Women's Lib Movement, men, for 40 years, have grown accustomed to living alone, fending for themselves just fine, enjoying the freedom that they so much like to have, and still having sex and companionship when the mood strikes them, and all along, having the "benefit" of not being "tied" to any one woman. Of course, the men have screwed themselves up, too, because guess what...when the old geezers can no longer take care of themselves because they are too old and too decrepit, there isn't going to be dear old wifey to care for them. They will have no woman willing to care for them (unless they leave her a good portion of their assets in exchange for living with an old man who has nothing to give except naming the woman in his will). They'll end up in a nursing home, alone and forgotten in a bed, with bed sores, loneliness, "what-ifs," and no doubt, regrets for companionship.

Added to the Women's Lib Movement as the premier factor in the annihilation of relationships in our social order is Viagra. That has been the second wave of enemy fire on loving and mutually trusting relationships. With Viagra and its progeny, men who couldn't function sexually, and who where previously content and thankful to have a woman, any woman, in their life, got up, dusted themselves off, and said: "Hey, broads, here we come!" No pun intended on "come." Even the ones who didn't respond completely to Viagra are out there, still trying to stick a limp noodle in any pot that will open up the lid. Consequently, more relationships have been ruined (marriages, "live-togetherers, " boyfriend-girlfrien d) or prevented from starting in the first place.

Men, at their core, are selfish, self-centered and egotistical, even when they have insecurities about their maleness and about women. Add to that inherent selfishness the belief that they can get any woman because there aren't enough men to go around and/or because women make themselves available to any guy, and the selfishness and self-centeredness duplicates exponentially.

Well, all I have to say is the HADES with all of them. If they can't behave like gentlemen, can't love a woman, can't cherish her, and only want to use us temporarily, while feigning affection and "smittenness, " a lonely and sterile nursing home is what they all deserve.

All I have addressed is the control that men have over what I already defined as a woman's most important life area - the relationship. I haven't even touched on other issues, such as the fact that women still don't earn anywhere near the same as men on most jobs and the very serious issue of the "glass ceiling."

Having said that, and being so sick and tired of hearing men complain about how unfair this and that is, or how women control things, I hope to put earplugs so I don't have to listen to it again. Of course, if WE complain, we're just angry women. Well, I wonder WHO we are angry at and why?

My suggestion to all men: Don't waste your life on meaningless fucking around. Find a woman who is beautiful, intelligent, sexy, sensual, a good conversationalist, a great kisser, who communicates well, who is good in bed, affectionate, loving, kind, generous of spirit, does community volunteer work, cares about you and cares about others, is a decent cook, keeps a clean house, has a flexible personality so that she is willing to compromise where compromise is appropriate (NOT on non-negotiable issues) is monogamous and DEMANDS monogamy from her mate, is trustworthy, is emotionally healthy (everyone has a history and everyone has been hurt to some extent or another; the key is not letting it affect the relationship) -- and stick to the ONE WOMAN. Learn to grow spiritually. Learn to grow as a man - not as a walking penis. You men don't give yourselves enough credit; you are more than a penis and hormones. Don't compartmentalize, whereby you can function inappropriately and it doesn't even bother you because you have rationalizations for each compartment. And most importantly, DO NOT shut off your heart -- what happens to the wonderful little boys out there, who are much more sensitive, affectionate and loving than little girls, who then grow up to be some awful, hateful, mean and selfish men?

For crying out loud, evaluate yourself as honestly and truthfully as possible, identify areas where you need to grown as a human being, and CHOOSE to be HONORABLE!

Enough said.

Phew, I'm glad she told us. If it wasn't for fat bean-flickers like this, with their constant lies about wage gaps and glass ceilings, and the way they constantly describe men exactly as they are themselves (egotistical, selfish etc.), then men and women would actually be happy together, but of course, thanks to cretins like this lazy fat-arsed whore, that's unlikely to ever happen.

Before you continue the name calling, I should mention that this rant was possibly posted by outdoors' girlfriend (unless outdoors is playing games and he posted it himself).

No offence intended Outdoors, that's just how I picture women who write drivel like this. If it is your girlfriend, then get her in check with some facts, she needs to be taught some truths, not feminist truths, actual truths.

Outdoors is one of the few people on my buddy list.
