Her attorney, Stephen Turano, said his client was innocent and it would have been "physically impossible" for her to have done what the boy said she did. Turano said there would have been too many parents and children entering and leaving the center for anyone to have had a chance to abuse the boy and there wouldn't have been enough space in the bathroom. "I would find it hard to believe that these things could have happened because the bathroom had paper-thin walls and was a very tight space," he said. "(Bedessie) absolutely, adamantly denies any of the charges, and certainly we look forward to proving her innocence." The telephone for Veda's Learning Center, in the South Ozone Park section, had been disconnected.

Honestly, you shouldn't see this as a bad thing. These are legitimate attempts at a defense based on logic, fairly spatial in this instance. I mean they're not making up some typical bullshit line like 'Oh, but she was really the victim!' I mean, in the same situation a man would probably be using the same defense. This doesn't make me angry.

QUEENS — A woman accused of raping a 4-year-old boy at a South Ozone Park daycare center thought the boy was a willing participant in at least three encounters, according to statements she made to authorities that were released yesterday.

In an alleged confession in oral and videotaped statements to police, Khemwatie Bedessie, a teacher’s aide at Veda’s Learning Center for the last four years, admitted that she sexually abused the boy in the teacher’s bathroom between Jan. 2 and Feb. 11. The assaults occurred between 7 and 9 a.m., before other workers arrived or while teachers ate lunch, she said.

In one encounter, Bedessie, 37, told police she had intercourse with the boy in a bathroom as she sat on the toilet.

“[Bedessie] stated that it seemed to her that [the boy] knew what he was doing, that [he] used to touch her breasts and attempt to kiss her in order to arouse her,” according to a statement Bedessie gave Det. Ivan Borbon on Wednesday after her arrest.

Bedessie — who was known to the victim and other children in her care as Anita — also told Borbon that “she knew what she had done was wrong, but that she couldn’t help herself and that she never had these feelings before January,” the statement read.

Judge Mary O’Donoghue ordered Bedessie, of 125th Street in Queens, held without bail on charges of first-degree rape, six counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. She faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted. Her next date in court is March 16.

During another encounter with the boy in early January, Bedessie said the boy called her into the bathroom and began touching her breasts. She then touched the boy’s penis with her hand as she masturbated, according to the statement.

What kind of mental midget do you have to be to even contimplate saying that a four year old child wanted sex. I don't think the proper juices flow at that age. Maybe the child wanted some affection or had been molested previously and thought that a sexual act was affection. But that woman should have known that the child could not have wanted sex!

The strange thing is that she was due to appear in court on 16/03/06 and yet I can find no more recent info on this case! I guess she must be still in custody?

She is female, perhaps they simply didn't want to scare her by punishing her, and so, the nasty courty room let the nicey woman go fwee.

The sad thing is that while a guy has to virtually avoid all contact with children for fear of finger pointing. The female paedophile is allowed to go about her business virtually unmolested (unlike her victims). The actions of feminists have provided a safe haven for violent, abusive women while their potential victims are of little interest to them. Maybe male and female paedos should be sent to colonies permanently or until such time as they are deemed innocent or no further danger to kids.
