Snohomish woman arrested in molestation of teen

A Snohomish woman was arrested Thursday on suspicion of
molesting a 13-year-old boy who lived next door.

The woman was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for
investigation of three counts of second-degree child molestation.
A judge Friday ordered her held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

The woman, 27, would walk the boy home from school and touch
him inappropriately, according to a police affidavit filed Friday in
Everett District Court.

The alleged abuse started sometime after April when the woman moved into the neighborhood, court documents said.

At first the woman kissed the boy, then started touching him in his “wrong parts,” the boy reportedly told police. He also said the woman showed him pornography.

When police interviewed the woman, who described herself as 5-foot-7, weighing 145 pounds, she admitted to kissing him and letting him touch her, the documents said. She blamed the child, who is about 4 feet tall and weighs about 60 pounds. He was 12 when the abuse reportedly began.
