Male and female victims have multiple times the rates of negative social indicators. There is a measurable impact.

If anything we currently over-punish male offenders and under-punish female offenders.

Adult engagement of children in sexual activity locks aspects of the kids development in place at that time. Most kids don't develop empathy, essential to function in the adult world, until their late teens. The current setting with age of consent at sixteen through to eighteen(or thereabouts) is quite appropriate.

Tera these issues are the reason I am no longer a feminist. Feminist influence in this area has severely distorted our treatment of victims of both genders. Male victims of females are utterly marginalised, rarely see any justice and can rarely access support services which are almost always gender specific. I continue to hammer the proportion of serious male rapists who were victimised when young. They rape violently and out of anger after growing up in a world that makes sexual abuse worse than murder but renders them invisible.

Only ten percent of female offenders are teachers. However if a student is raped it is more than twice as likely a male victim and female teacher than the reverse.

In a group of four hundred victims eight to ten will be boys molested by female teachers while about three to four will be girls molested by male teachers.

I recently brought this issue up with the UK Libertarian Party and found out that rape is only considered rape if it's penetrative, otherwise it's classed as sexual abuse.

I don't see why we need a different definition because a man uses his penis compared to a woman using an underage boy's penis.
