37-year-old Carter County woman charged in rape of
13-year-old boy

A 37-year-old woman has been charged with first-degree rape
and contributing to the delinquency of minors, after a
13-year-old boy told police the woman gave him prescription
drugs and alcohol and had sex with him.

Police said Diana Kay Mills confessed to having sex with the
13-year-old, but not with a 15-year-old who police said she
also supplied with drugs and alcohol.

Healdton Police Chief Gus Handky said his office learned of the
allegations Tuesday night when the 13-year-old's mother called him with concerns.

Handky said it's possible more teenage victims are involved, but they have not come forward or been identified.
