I'm not a father but this film had me in tears. A loving father protecting his little boy from horror and death, and trying to save his wife too - the clown hero Did anyone else like this one? It was quite popular here in N America Feminism = Fear + Flattery | ||||

I saw it in Grade 10, and I've been a fan of Benigni ever since. It's a crime that this movie is misunderstood, because the Holocaust wasn't the main point of the film, it was only the background. It was used as emphasis for the true point of the plot: what people will do to survive.
