My daughter is too young and also out of my reach...you know...that Parental Alienation thing that so many say doesn't exist.

Anyway, if she were older I doubt I would DIRECTLY teach her anything. I would teach her by example and by influence. Let her grow up and simply guide her when needed, nothing too overbearing. I hate helicopter parents and I refuse to be one myself.

Some single mothers go out of their way to teach their daughters to be feminists. That they have to do that shows that it is not natural for little girls to grow up as feminists.

I read about one mother on feministing she was "teaching" her son about feminism. And she said sth about (if I remember correctly) him not liking homosexual relationship. What she was trying to change. So I wonder how many antifeminist are raised by feminists.

Anyhow I have a daughter and I am currently trying to teach her to go to bed earlier (she will be 3 month old next week)....so nothing about feminism.

She was also talking about her son liking pink but took no responsibility for that.

If I remember correctly, she let her son choose the color of his walls. He chose pink. She also noted that he has always worn pinkish clothes. Uh MOM, who set him on THAT path?

I have a daughter. I don't see her either, like so many fathers. She has been mind-poisoned.

She was the light of my life as a little girl and I encouraged her to do and be whatever she could aspire to do and be.

But I am very proud of her and what she has managed to achieve. She did a full apprenticeship as a car mechanic and specialised in high performance cars and engines.

She married recently ( I was not invited) and is about to open a vehicle repair business with her husband. He is also a car mechanic. He is divorced and has his kids half time, so she is a step-mother to two. As she does not talk to me I have no idea of what troubles she has other than what my son manages to tell me about. I have a very good relationship with him.

I miss my daughter terribly.

Her mother is a dyed in the wool feminazi and I hope she will rot in hell for the damage she has done.

I am from Europe, married since 32 years, never divorced, Asian wife and living in Asia since 1972, I have 2 daughters, 27 and 31 y.o. and I take care of a Filipina fostergirl, now 12 y.o.

Why should we?

I completely agree with you, Yohan. I've never taught my daughter anything about feminism. I teach her to be modest, chaste, honest, kind, charitable.....that nothing matters more than the kind of person we are and the way we treat others. I teach her the value of integrity, reliability and being trustworthy.

There's no need for me to use the "F" word, if she retains only half of what I teach her she'll still be in direct opposition to all feminism stands for.

nicely summarises on how my wife and I brought up our daughter and her brother 18 n 13 respectively

she is currently a third year apprentice in a flash restaurant here in Sydney Australia and has passed all but one six week module on cookery

she will round off her theory course early next year

I slapped her twice in anger during her child hood once for poking a wire into a power socket and the other for being too sassy with her mother

my daughter is a non drug taker doesn't smoke and saves her money

I credit most of her steady habits to her mother who has much common sense and doesn't know what feminitism is and who has loved her and her brother dearly and spent the child hoood years with both kids as they grew up

I don't discuss it with my kids. They're too young. However, I know the mother of my two oldest daughter's has taught them to hit boys in the groin if they engage in disagreements which may get physical.

I have countered that, explaining the problems with fertility in later life, that by doing this they could render the boy in fertile and effectively they would be stealing his right to be a parent in later life.
