Iowa Supreme Court creates “paternity fraud” as a cause of action against mothers who lie
Swindled Iowa men who spent money on children who turned out not to be theirs may now sue for damages wrought by the fraud, the Iowa Supreme Court ruled this morning.Justices created a new class of lawsuits this morning by reversing the dismissal of a 2011 Grundy County case involving a mother alleged to have lied about a baby’s heritage to obtain financial support from a different male.Joseph O. Dier sued for damages last August after two paternity tests, ordered as part of a court challenge to his bid to obtain legal custody, established that Dier had no biological relationship to a child born to Cassandra Jo Peters. The lawsuit, which sought reimbursement for all money “expended to the defendant, monies for the minor child, and monies expended in custody litigation,” was quickly thrown out on the grounds that such behavior is not specifically deemed a crime under Iowa law.Iowa Supreme Court creates “paternity fraud” as a cause of action against mothers who lie | Des Moines Register Staff Blogs

Wife : "I dreamt they were auctioning off dicks. The big ones went for ten dollars and the thick ones went for twenty dollars."
Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

A step towards the right direction. Hopefully other states will follow suit and give fathers some hope in the court system.

It's really kind of funny that the law doesn't already see all types of fraud as crimes. I guess this is where the almighty pussy pass comes into play in the other 49 states, for now.

I see the "pretty little lairs" are getting the proverbial "slap in the face" they deserve.

I didn't make myself clear.
"When American lawyers find a new way to make money, that's when the world changes."
This should be read as;
"Find a new way for American lawyers to make money, and you will change the world"
We just found a way

Even several hours after posting this, even though it doesn't affect my country (...yet), even though I'm not a victim of paternity fraud (that I know of)... I am fuckin' well chuffed [super excited] about this - it's just fantastic.
And the cherry on the cake is that it will piss off the feminists so badly.
That just makes me smile even more.

Re: FINALLY Paternity Fraud is recognised legally
I've often thought mandatory DNA testing might be a good thing, providing both women and men have to do it. For one thing, it would make it more practical to bring in a law requiring women to inform men that they have aborted that man's child.

Re: FINALLY Paternity Fraud is recognised legally
Seems that the mens movement will never learn that getting the state to deal with matters that fathers themselves need to get to grips with is just going to create more problems for everyone.
Any man can get a paternity test, he doesnt need to state to do it for him and if it comes to mandatory testing (which it won't) so many problems will result from this that the "benefits" of helping fools who trust women will seem insignificant.."Women...
